Such a pretty little lady, she can be a bit shy at first but she does like attention and being pet. With just a bit of patience, she’ll let you know when she’s ready for some love, and she will want all of it! Once she’s comfy, her lovey dovey side comes out. You can also entice her with a bit of catnip or nice cat scratcher. She’s also a little chatter box at times. I’m regrettably needing to rehome my loved cat Nero. Nero is 6 years old and I have had his since he was about 8 weeks. I adopted him from Best Friends Animal shelter in Atlanta. He has always been a scardy cat and hides most of the day, but due to a ton of life and household changes over the past year, he has really been struggling. He doesn’t like loud noises or environments or lots of people. Since my house is now all of those things, he hides all day long, causing his hair to get matted (just had this fixed) Or if he is really scared he will have accidents. We have been trying to find a solution for over a year now. I’ve spent thousands on testing and medication from the vet. But ultimately, this cat is only going to thrive in a different environment. He ideally needs a quiet home, maybe a single person with no kids or pets. Somewhere that there is not many things to scare him. I really want to try and find him a good home!

Poppy is a special cat who came to us from the Carolinas after a hurricane. Before her move to Florida she was in a rescue for three years. She loves treats , but does not want other animal friends.Young children may not be the best companions for her either. She is a diva and wants to be the absolute center of attention and she deserves it. Once Poppy trust you - she is your best friend. We lovingly call her Princess Poppy.  Poppy is fixed, vaccinated, tested for feline leukemia and feline aids (felv/fiv) and microchipped.
