Story
Beautiful Patsy Cline is an old soul. Even though she's only 4 months old, she has the demeanor of an older cat. She loves to play, cuddle with you, and nap in her favorite bed. Pictures don't do Patsy justice. She is SO beautiful! She has only known indoor life and would need to remain an indoor kitty. Patsy is spayed, always uses her litter box, and is very low maintenance. She will most definitely make a great addition to her new home!

Story
Meet Caroline. Photos cannot capture the beauty of this sweet girl's eyes! You must see her in person! Caroline is one of our sweetest kitties and we just can't believe she hasn't been been adopted yet after over a year in our shelter. She's just over a year now. Caroline grew up in our kitten room but as she grew and more little kittens were added to the room, she retreated to a high post to watch the action. We moved her to the big cat room and she's thriving with the more dignified kitties. She enjoys chasing the laser light and basking in the sun, Caroline does well with other cats, and loves adults and children. She's one of those often overlooked kitties who we really believe will thrive in a new home, either with or without a kitty companion. We all hope someone will take a chance on her soon, no kitty deserves to grow up in a shelter. If you can offer a safe indoor home for Caroline, please submit an application on the homepage of this website www.charlessmithgallhumanesociety.org To get to our adoption form, please select "How to Adopt." Please call our shelter at 706-865-4135 or email us at smithgallhumanesociety@windstream.net to verify that we received your application. . All adopters must complete an approval process which involves a reference check with current/recent vet and a brief home visit if located in the immediate area. We do permit out of state adoptions. Adopters MUST come to the shelter to transport their new family member home. We do not ship nor do we transport them to their new homes. Adoption policies and application procedures are detailed at the shelter website: http://charlessmithgallhumanesociety.org/ under tab All Adoptable Animals. Charles Smithgall Humane Society (CSHS) is a No kill shelter. Animals in our care remain safe with us until adopted. Resident animals are either owner relinquished rescued from area Animal Controls or high kill shelters. The facility usually is operating at capacity with a list of animals waiting for space to open.

Story
Meet Cinnamon Cinnamon is one of five bottle-fed kittens who were lovingly raised by a dedicated staff member. She is a gentle soul with black, silver and white fur. Her nose has the cutest dusting of light brown which is how she got the name of Cinnamon (It's also the only way we can tell her apart from her identical twin Scruffy). She loves to chase cat toys and get pets. She will be a wonderful addition to your family! Her equally adorable siblings are Xavier, Mika, Onyx, and Scruffy. She loves her siblings and can often be found in the bottom of a purr puddle, or snuggled up in the arms of a volunteer (when she's not up to mischief!) Cinnamon and her family are about 3 months old, and they are ready for a local foster-to-adopt for a family who would like to foster until she is old enough to be spayed. The family needs to live close enough so she can be returned to us for periodic check ups and vaccines, and for her spay surgery. After that, she can be permanently adopted. If looking for an awesome kitten (or two, or three, which is always preferred), please submit an application for Cinnamon online at: www.charlessmithgallhumanesociety.org. Once an application is submitted online, you will receive an email saying your application has been successfully submitted. If you don’t receive this email within 24 hours, please check to make sure all application fields were completed or please call our shelter at 706-865-4135. Story
Hello there, my name is Butterfly. As you can see I am a gorgeous grey girl who was found outside and brought into furkids for my safety. I am now all clear to find a home of my own! I would require a very patient and experienced person to make sure I could thrive in my new home as I am still uncomfortable with strangers or a lot of activity. But if you have the space in your family and in your heart to give me a chance I am sure I will eventually be your very own butterfly. Please apply to meet me if you feel we could be the right fit at furkids.org ID# : FKDS-A-31005 Est. Birthdate: 03-11-2021 Microchip Number: 981020051538700
