(when grown) -
Good with cats,
Spayed or Neutered,
Meet Mae, a beautiful Domestic Medium Hair cat who was born around February of 2021. Mae was given her name based on its meaning. It means “beloved” and is derived from the name May which is connect to the Roman godess Maia who is the godess of growth and motherhood. Mae had a really rough chapter in life, before coming into rescue. Mae was one of 22+ cats that were left abandoned in a mobile home. Sadly, only 18 of these sweet babies made it to rescue. Luckily, Mae was one of them. As she has settled into a foster home and began receiving medical care after being left in deplorable conditions. Mae has shown that she is a very loving cat who can just be shy at first. She is very cat friendly and would probably benifit from having a feline friend in her forever home. At this time we are unsure how she would do with dogs and children, though loud noises do scare her so we feel it would be best for children 6 years of age and older only. As we learn more about Mae we will be sure to share it. But we hope you will concider being Mae's second chance on life!
The suggested adoption donation for Mae is $65. Muddy Paws is a 501c3 non-profit organization meaning that part of your donation MAY be TAX DEDUCTIBLE. We are a 100% volunteer rescue committed to giving animals a second chance at life. All donations go toward that mission. Adoption fees are the primary source of funding for the cost of veterinary care for our animals. In 2022 alone, we provided animal Healthcare totaling over $399,000 covered mainly through adoption fees.
