Story
Humphrey is a sophisticated, mellow gentleman who truly appreciates the finer things in life—like a fresh blanket and a cozy space to call his own. He’s a creature of habit and prefers to stay near (or in) his comfort zone. He may venture out during cleaning to supervise, but the moment he spots a newly made bed in his enclosure, he’s ready to settle back into relaxation mode.Luckily, his love of routine doesn’t apply to people. Humphrey is social, friendly, and enjoys attention from humans of all ages. He thrives on affection and calm companionship. While he may need a little time to acclimate to new environments and animal friends, he is cat friendly once he settles in. If you’re looking for a calm, charming companion who values comfort and consistency, Humphrey is your guy.Our cat adoption fee is $110 and includes their Spay/Neuter surgery, microchipping, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives. You can find our adoption questionnaire at agcshelter.org/adopt-1 or you can stop in and see all of our adoptable pets in person Tuesday-Saturday from 1pm-4pm.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Moon Pie is a friendly and happy kitten! He loves to cuddle, and his non-stop purring is the best!    His favorite toys have bells. He enjoys chasing a tossed jingle ball, or when he manages to grab the toy on the end of a jingle wand, he walks off with it, then brings it back to play. His cute version of "fetch."   I have a bird feeder outside my window, and he will intently watch any bird or squirrel that visits it.  Please Note: This kitten is in foster care and is not available for meet and greets at this time. We have an estimated date of July 24th that Moon Pie will be ready. This date is subject to change. Once you are approved to adopt, you can put down the adoption fee to reserve. We will communicate with you throughout the adoption process.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 13, 2026, 5:28 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Penny and Marge are a beautiful young pair of kitties who share a very special bond. You'll often find them curled up together or chasing toys around the room - playful, curious, and always entertaining to watch! These girls are still learning that people can be trusted. They are rather timid and prefer to keep their distance, and they aren't comfortable being picked up or handled yet. On their own terms, they'll sometimes allow gentle pets - and when they do, it feels like such a sweet little victory. With patience, calm routines, and a quiet home, they'll continue to grow at their own pace. Due to their timid nature a home without children or dogs would be best. Penny and Marge are cat-friendly and would do well in a home with another easygoing, playful feline friend that will help boost their confidence. They're otherwise very sweet and absolutely stunning to look at. These girls are looking for a compassionate adopter who understands love doesn't always mean cuddles right away. If you have a soft spot for shy kitties and want to give two bonded beauties a safe forever home, Penny and Marge would love to share their world with you.  Penny and Marge's adoption fee is $150 and includes their spay, microchip, current vaccinations, and an FeLV/FIV test. They are seeking an indoor only home and Last Hope requires that adopters have a history of having kept their pets indoors, altered, and current on vaccinations, wellness exams, and preventatives. Our adoption process includes a background check, very history check, and a home visit. If you would like to meet Penny and Marge, please submit an adoption application on our website for consideration, adopthope.org.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 9, 2026, 11:31 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Emily! Emily is the kind of cat who likes to take life at her own pace. This pretty girl can be a little unsure when faced with change, and she tends to keep her guard up a first. However, once she decides you're part of her circle, she'll happily settle in nearby for pets and quiet companionship. She's not much a fan of being picked up or carried around, but she's perfectly content hanging out beside you while keeping on eye on the world around her.  Emily is an independent, aloof queen who enjoys a calm, chill environment where she can simply relax and exist in peace. She has her boundaries and appreciates people who respect them, so she's do best in a home with older children who understand cat body language when she needs her space.  When it comes to other cats, Emily can be a bit spicy during interactions and definitely prefers the company of laid-back male cats over females. A mellow feline friend who won't crowd her would be the best match. She has not yet been dog tested. If you're looking for a low-key companion who values quiet company over constant attention, Emily might just be your perfect match.  Emily's adoption fee is $85 and includes her spay, microchip, current vaccinations, and an FIV/FeLV test. Last Hope requires that all animals be keep as indoor only pets and that adopters have a history of having kept their pets altered, indoors, and current on vaccinations and preventative care. Our adoption process includes a background check, home visit, and vet history check. If you would like to meet Emily, please submit an adoption application on our website for consideration, Adopthope.org. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 10, 2026, 2:11 pm
