Story
Sylvia is a previously adopted Cat Nap Lodge kitten. Unfortunately things didn't work out with her family and she came back to us as an adult. She is about 2 years old and can be timid. She loves attention from people she knows and is never late for dinner!Sylvia is older cat who loves to hang around. She likes being petted. She is shy at first but warms up nicely. She would prefer a quiet home and would make a great companion cat. This cat or kitten is being fostered with Cat Nap Lodge (CNL) for Kalamazoo Animal Rescue. Cat Nap Lodge is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit cat and kitten rescue located in Richland, MI. We also have additional foster homes in nearby communities. We focus on lost, sick, and injured kittens and cats. Once our cats and kittens are healthy, spayed and neutered, we adopt them out through Kalamazoo Animal Rescue. We welcome visitors at our CNL Community Center by appointment in the evenings and on the weekends. Together we save lives!Cat Nap Lodge Community Center10418 N 32nd St, Richland, MI 49083 Her foster parents are Joni K.   The adoption fee for Sylvia CNL is $70. If more than one cat or kitten is adopted the adoption fees are discounted. Please complete our online application form if you are interested in adopting Sylvia CNL. A volunteer will contact you as soon as possible. All Kalamazoo Animal Rescue cats & kittens are spayed or neutered and feline leukemia tested prior to adoption. They also are given medication to rid them of roundworms and checked and treated for fleas & ear mites, if needed. Additional vet care may have been provided depending on the particular animal's needs. All are given distemper vaccinations and depending on how long the pet has been in foster care, additional vaccine(s) may be necessary and the expense will be incurred by the adopter. All cats and kittens are feline leukemia tested, and cats at least a year old are also tested for feline immuno virus. Each cat or kitten receives the FVRCP vaccine; if a kittens stay with us is long enough, two or three boosters will be given after the initial vaccination. Most cats and older kittens are spayed or neutered before adoption. In the case of kittens not old enough to be safely sterilized, a $50 deposit is required at the time of adoption and is refunded to the adopter with proof of sterilization. Story
Mario Mario is a male Tabby DSH DOB: April, 2023 Adoption fee: $75.00 I am a goofy and playful cat, slowing calming down as I grow up. I can be a little shy at first with new people, when I get to know you then you will really see the interesting personality I have! I can be affectionate at times, and I can be vocal when I am seeking out attention. I do often seek out attention. I enjoy receiving pets and scratches! I can be quite independent as I grow older, I like to sit back and observe everything around me (especially nature and birds!) I enjoy taking long naps and relaxing! I do enjoy cuddling up with the other cats in the room and playing with them. I really enjoy toys! I am a sweet and nice boy with a big goofy personality! I should do well with other cats, if they are looking for a playmate. I would do okay as a playmate and cuddle friend for another cat. With a slow and proper introduction, I should do well with a cat friendly dog. I would do better with older children. If you are interested in being my adopter, please visit my shelter's website and complete the adoption application that is available there! HSSCM.org you can find the applications under the "adoptions" tab.
