Story
Breed: Domestic medium hair Age: 2 months on 10/17/25 Gender: Male Litter Box Trained: Yes Declawed: No Adoption Fee: $225 + $50 refundable deposit Am I good with: Cats: Yes, kittens require proper socialization Dogs: Yes, kittens require proper socialization Children: Yes, kittens require proper socialization About me: Boogey may have a spooky-sounding name, but there’s nothing scary about this little guy! He’s a friendly, playful kitten who loves being around people and exploring the world with wide-eyed curiosity. Boogey is quick to make friends and always ready for a bit of fun, whether it’s chasing toys or climbing into your lap for snuggles. This sweet boy is sure to chase away the shadows and fill his forever home with joy. This cat has been at ARP since: 9/19/25, he will not be ready for adoption until 8 weeks – The Animal Rescue Project is committed to the best possible veterinary care for the pets it rescues and it is looking for adopters who will be similarly committed. Adoptions are NOT first come, first served! We seek to choose the best fit for the approved adopter and pet. Please understand that these animals are still new to us and their needs and requirements can change at any time as we learn more about them. We will try our best to get them updated online as soon as possible. All cats and kittens are given a general check-up when they enter our program. They receive medical treatment to remove any intestinal parasites (worms), fleas, and mites they may have. All cats and kittens are feline leukemia tested, and cats at least a year old are also tested for feline immuno virus. Each cat or kitten receives the FVRCP vaccine; if a kitten stays with us long enough, two or three boosters will be given after the initial vaccination. Most cats and older kittens are spayed or neutered before adoption. In the case of kittens not old enough to be safely sterilized, a $50 deposit is required at the time of adoption and is refunded to the adopter with proof of sterilization. The Animal Rescue Project requires every adopter to establish an active relationship with a veterinarian no later than 10 days after adoption. Adopters will receive a plan for routine veterinary care at the time of adoption and are expected to work with their vet to complete the plan.

Story
Maeby was rescued from a shelter when she was about 1 year old. She is incredibly sweet and gentle. She does like her alone time and will find a quiet place to relax during the day but will come out in the evenings for pets and cuddles. She is a very calm and gentle cat. She comes from a home with a dog, another cat, and a toddler so she can handle being in a home with other pets and children though she can be skittish at times. She is a very loving girl, we we just moved and can longer keep her with us.

Story
Mario Mario is a male Tabby DSH DOB: April, 2023 Adoption fee: $75.00 I am a goofy and playful cat, slowing calming down as I grow up. I can be a little shy at first with new people, when I get to know you then you will really see the interesting personality I have! I can be affectionate at times, and I can be vocal when I am seeking out attention. I do often seek out attention. I enjoy receiving pets and scratches! I can be quite independent as I grow older, I like to sit back and observe everything around me (especially nature and birds!) I enjoy taking long naps and relaxing! I do enjoy cuddling up with the other cats in the room and playing with them. I really enjoy toys! I am a sweet and nice boy with a big goofy personality! I should do well with other cats, if they are looking for a playmate. I would do okay as a playmate and cuddle friend for another cat. With a slow and proper introduction, I should do well with a cat friendly dog. I would do better with older children. If you are interested in being my adopter, please visit my shelter's website and complete the adoption application that is available there! HSSCM.org you can find the applications under the "adoptions" tab.
