Pennington County Humane Society  Meet Mr. Kitty, a sweet and gentle feline who is looking for his forever home. Mr. Kitty is a bit shy around people, but he gets along well with other cats. Pennington County Humane Society  Meet GooberGoober is a handsome 4‑year‑old Russian Blue mix with a royal blue coat and a heart full of personality. Originally adopted from Pennington County Humane Society, Goober has grown into a playful, affectionate companion who loves toys that make noise, chasing dangling rods, and proudly showing off his hunting skills.Goober is especially sensitive to people's emotions&#194&#151he knows when you're feeling down and will curl up close to offer comfort. He's a lap cat at heart, happiest snuggled against you on the couch or furniture, soaking up head scratches and brushing sessions.After another pet (a snake) was introduced to the household, Goober began showing some behavioral challenges, including inconsistent litter box use and occasional scratching or growling. While these issues emerged in response to the new environment, Goober remains affectionate and loyal with the people he knows. He thrives with patience, understanding, and a calm home where he can feel secure.Goober prefers a quieter environment without young children and would do best as an indoor-only cat. He also prefers to be the only animal in the household, where he can soak up all the love and attention. She likes being up high on top of a cat tree or a cabinet. She is also polydactyl, so she has extra toes on her front paws.
