Story
Mittens came to us after a citizen found her with part of her tail ripped off, it looks like a dog or coyote it such tried to grab her by the tail and she got away. Her tail had to be amputated at about the halfway point. And to add to her unique look shes a little cross eyed but doesnt appear to have any vision issues. Mittens is chill and likes to cuddle. Shell make some one a great companion! All of our cats are in foster homes learning how to be well behaved house cats! All age appropriate vaccinations have been given along with dewormer and flea/tick/ear mite treatment as needed. Cats and kittens are nearly always spayed or neutered before adoption, in the event they are not there will be a $25 refund issued upon receipt of proof of spay or neuter within 6 months. We do allow out of state adoptions for an extra fee but we do not ship our pets. They must be picked up from us. Because we are all volunteer and foster based we do not have standard hours or a facility to visit, rather everything is done online through our webpage, from applying to adopting. Please visit our website www.fodrescue.org to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs and cats.

Story
Woody was born on September 18th. I rescued the mother with her 6 babies. They were born in a garage at a vacant house where I would go and feed the kitties. She bought them out through a broken window and landed in some kind of sticker plant. When I first seen them, they were all covered with these stickers. I brought them home and spent 2 hours taking out the stickers. Woody, is very active and always the first one out of the room and now is venturing into the rest of the house. I just want them to find good homes and loved. I have several cats of my own and just can't keep him or his litter mates. He is very lovable with me and I'm sure in time he will adjust to a new home. He isn't picky and will eat most anything. I have been feeding them Fancy Feast dry and wet food. He is very healthy!!

Story
This little guy is the smallest one. He is very playful and so sweet. Usually he is the first one to go to sleep and last to wake up. I feed cats at this vacant house and the mother had him on September 18th. She had them in the garage and bought them out when I was there, through a broken window into a plant that had thorns. I just couldn't leave them there so I bought them home and took 2 hours to get the thorns out. Tiger is so sweet and would make a wonderful pet.

Drake is the smallest of the litter. He is very playful and lots of fun. I feed cats at this vacant house and he was born there on September 18. The mother cat had them in the garage and was bring them out through a broken window in the garage. I was there and they were in a plant that had thorns. So I took all 6 home with the mother and spent 2 hours getting the thorns out. I have been feeding them Fancy Feast Dry and wet food. They are very healthy. The mother is still nursing but not as much. Drake will grow up to be a beautiful boy. His hair is medium length now, so probably will stay that. I would keep this baby but I have several cats and just can't keep him.
