Milo's owners were no longer able to care for him and asked us to take him and his (cat) sibling Emma in. Because we had room, we did, although we normally do not take owner surrenders. Milo is a sweet tabby who has been well cared for and loves to get lots of attention. He has lived with his sister so is good with cats, and has been around children, but we are not yet sure how he is with dogs. Kato came to us with three other cats after their owner died in a car accident. Our local county shelter doesn't take cats so they reached out to us. Barney came to us from Options. He was rounded up in a TNR operation and found to be friendly. The vet took care of them but needed a place for them to be cared for so we took him and another cat in. Flower was rounded up with a group of ferals, and when it was determined she was friendly, someone asked us to take her in.
