Story
Meet Luna! This beautiful one year old was found by her current foster in a neighborhood in Rensselaer. She might be shy at first, but is a friendly and extremely affectionate girl when she gets to know you! She loves to be pet and brushed. She also loves to play with toys, and is very fond of Churu treats and cat nip. She is a gentle soul who appreciates peace and would do best in a calm home, with no other pets or children. Luna is fully vetted (spayed, de-wormed, de-fleaed, microchipped, received her rabies and distemper vaccines, and is negative for both FIV and Feline Leukemia). All vet records will be supplied to her new owner upon adoption. If interested, please apply! Pending her foster and I feel you are a good fit, we will certainly arrange a meet and greet!

Not good with dogs, Not good with cats,
Story
Mariah Kitty is a sweet and soulful 5-year-old gray and white medium-haired beauty. Though she came to us as a stray, we’ve since learned she’s been passed through several homes, and she’s more than ready to find her forever family. Despite her past, Mariah remains incredibly loving and craves gentle affection and attention. She prefers to be the only cat in the home—other cats are not her cup of tea. However, she may do well with calm, older, cat-savvy children who understand her need for a peaceful environment. Her previous experience with a rambunctious puppy was very stressful, so if there’s a dog in the home, it should be quiet, mature, and respectful of her space. Mariah has recently experienced some gastrointestinal issues, which we believe are stress-related. With a stable, loving home, she’s likely to thrive and feel her best again. If you're looking for a loyal companion who just wants to be loved and understood, Mariah Kitty could be the perfect match.

Story
Bear is a year and a half, spayed and has her rabies shots, free to the right home. She needs a home where she can be indoors and have enough attention from people. Indoors as well as outdoors would be even better, shes a good hunter and doesn’t bother other pets. Her situation is that our other cat has been chasing her when she’s outside, and she can’t be free indoors due to allergies. She is shy at first but loves people, and likes to perch on your shoulder and is quite a character! Would be great for kids! Has a litter box and cat carrier that can go with her.

Story
Hi, my name is Harlow. When you walk by my room in the shelter, you might not see me at first. You may think this is some awesome power of invisibility or a secret magic trick, but if you look a bit closer, you`ll eventually find me snuggled up in a pile of warm blankets. You see, my life up to this point hasn`t been the easiest. Life as a stray has tarnished my trust of people, so I am a bit shy now. Life under the blankets is a little easier for fearful cats like me! I am what people call a `spirit cat.` This means that I prefer the company of cats over people and that I may hide quite a bit. But, with time and patience, my trust will grow, and a beautiful friendship will bloom (even if it`s a friendship from 20 feet away).
