Story
Meet this LOVLEY gal named Summer Squash! She came in as a stray April 14, 2023 and was never reclaimed so she’s patiently awaiting her adoption day. She came in very scared and unsure of shelter life. She has to have time to “settle in” and adjust while feeling loved and secure. A calm loving home would be ideal for her. She is 4 years old, current on shots, now spayed, and ready for her adoption day to come. She has the softest coat of fur and loves for you to rub on her once she’s comfortable with you. Stop by for a visit with Summer Squash today and give her the patience, love, and FOREVER she deserves. Starting her in a smaller area and gradually opening up area would be ideal for her as well as any more timid/shy/scared kitty,

Story
Meet this adorable fella named Res! He was adopted as a young kitten and now back as of June 27, 2024, awaiting his chance at a happily ever after. He is now 9 mo the old, current on shot, and hoping his cuteness will win over the right person ready to adopt him. Such an adorable fella with so much spunk and happiness to share. A few tip for kitties…clipping their nails back every ~5 weeks reduces their need to scratch to file nails back. They love to climb and toys. Climbing post are always amazing to have and the more toys the merrier. Stop by for a visit with Red and adopt him into your heart and home! We have SO MANY cats & kittens arriving daily that it is hard to keep our Adopt-a-Pet as up to date as we would like. So please, COME TO THE SHELTER and meet some of the wonderful cats that are up for adoption and open up your home to one or more kitties today! If you adopt a cat that is not already spayed or neutered, you will receive a voucher to help cover the cost of the surgery, and some vets honor the voucher 100%! Such a great deal -- while also saving a life!! All of our cats are tested for FIV as well as Feline Leukemia before being placed up for adoption. Not quite ready for the commitment of adoption but would love to contribute to the health and happiness of our feline fur babies? We'd very much appreciate some litter, or food (especially kitten food - Purina is their favorite!). Maybe you will have some time to snuggle and love on them while you're here. It makes their time here more enjoyable when they get extra love & attention. Also, we need volunteers & foster homes! Come to the shelter to apply! The shelter hours are Monday-Friday 10am-1pm and 2pm-5pm (we close from 1pm-2pm for lunch), and Saturday 10am-4pm. Hope to see you soon!
