Maria was part of a colony that was cleared in Castle Hayne, NC. She is very affectionate, sweet and playful. She originally tested positive for FeLV, but we have recently retested her for a negative result. This means she may have had it as a kitten, but her immuned system fought it off and contained it to numbers that are no longer measurable. it is best in this situation to be prepared to retest every couple of years for a while. Her best friend, Ella, is in the same position.
