Hey there, I am Janna and I am ready to be someone’s new BFF! If you enjoy cuddle sessions and plenty of chats throughout the day, I’m your gal. I haven’t met a bed (yours, mine, random weird places) I haven’t liked. I enjoy snoozing on my cuddle pads, in my cozy beds, in my person’s arms and on their legs on the couch, and even cuddling while they sleep. If you work from home you’ll often find that I need to assist you, and while I type really fast my accuracy could use some help. Don’t let my age or my missing eye fool you, I have the heart of a tiger beating in me. If you give me crinkle toys, balls and mice, I promise to make you laugh as I play rambunctiously and narrate to you what I am doing each step of the way. My ideal new home will allow me to be the only queen in the castle - I've lived with cats before but I really want to be your one and only. I have too much purrsonality and love to share you with anyone else - though I am casual friends (respectful from a distance) with the bunny in my foster home. If you have windows so I can watch birds while soaking up the sun that would be amazing. I do have to take medicine twice a day but I trained my foster parents how to hide them in Churu tubes. I pretend I don’t know they are in there but honestly if you are feeding me a squishy treat I will happily keep up the charade. Amaryllis (3 years old; FIV+) Amaryllis is a shy and gorgeous long-haired brown tabby-and-white cat with a tiny white blaze in the middle of her forehead. She also has four white feet and a stubby tail, although she is so shy that you might not see these distinctive features for a while. Amaryllis will accept pets if you move slowly, approach her from the side (not from front, which is too confrontational for her), and speak in a soft voice. No doubt she will continue to come out of her shell in a quieter home with calm adults and older, respectful children. Amaryllis needs to call the shots and become part of your household at her own pace. If you allow her time and space, she will learn to trust and share her gentle affection with you. Amaryllis is FIV+, but she is healthy and can live a happy, normal life. Annual wellness exams are important to maintain her health. Dandy (8 months old)  Dandy is a medium haired tuxedo cat with a perfect white blaze down his nose and face, spreading down to the neck and chest. He also has four white legs. He is one of the young cats here in the shelter, growing out of kittenhood and into an adult. He is a bit shy around the other full-grown cats in his room, but he is adjusting well and is on his way to being a friendly young soul who would love to have a forever home with you.
