Story
Aquired cat as a 10wk old kitten. Feral mother had kittens under daughters house. We have 2 dogs, a bulldog and a German Shepherd. The cat gets along with them but the German Shepherd chases the cat and chews on her. We feel that she will accidentally kill the cat. We have a vacation coming up very soon and must rehome her within 8 days. She has had her 1st set of shots given at home and has been wormed twice. She was born 5/13/24. Notice she has a heart shape on her right side. Please help us find Lilly a good home asap. She will come with a covered littler box, some litter, a feeder and water bowl. Thank you.

Story
Meet Crescent Moon 🌙🐾A name as magical as her personality, Crescent Moon is a beautiful black-and-white sweetheart who’s looking for her forever-ever home after a year of being dearly loved by her previous family 🖤.She was adopted from us a little over a year ago, and while her family is heartbroken to let her go due to a move, they’ve shared so much wonderful insight to help her find her perfect match ✨.Crescent is the perfect blend of independent and affectionate. She’s not clingy, but she loves to be near you—whether that means curling up on your lap, laying at your feet, or simply sitting in the same room while you work 🧘‍♀️💻. She’ll happily snooze at the foot of your bed, but don’t be surprised if she meows at your door to remind you when it’s bedtime! (Yes, she’s a bedtime enforcer. No late nights allowed.) 🛏️🕰️She earned the nickname “puppy” for a reason—she’ll follow you from room to room, walking right in front of you like your personal shadow 🚶‍♀️🐾. If you’re someone who trips easily, she’s probably not your gal. But if you want a cat with loyal sidekick energy? She's it.Crescent was trained to be a mouser (and she was very good at it), though now that the mice are gone, she’ll need a little refresher if you want her back on the job 🐭🎯. She’s a quick learner and loves having a role to play. She’s not destructive—she’s happy with cardboard scratchers nearby and doesn’t touch drapes, door trim, or furniture. Stretching may look suspicious, but it’s all innocent! 🛋️✨Crescent is best suited for a homebody type who wants a loving, present companion. She’s done well being left alone for a few days, but she will give you a stern talking-to when you get home before cuddling up to forgive you 🗣️💕.She’s great with kids overall and has a very maternal nature. She will comfort and protect little ones if they’re hurt—but she can get jealous if she’s not receiving enough attention. Due to a few recent incidents with a toddler (likely from lack of playtime), we recommend a home without small children or with kids who understand cat boundaries 🧸❤️‍🔥.With other pets, Crescent has a dominant personality and needs to be introduced slowly and carefully. She can coexist peacefully, but she’ll thrive with submissive, easygoing cats who don’t challenge her space. Her former family said it best:“We just want her to find a forever home that will love her as much as we have.”Crescent Moon is loyal, loving, opinionated, and oh-so-special. If you’re looking for a cat with heart, history, and a whole lot of character—she’s ready to follow you home 🌙💞Crescent Moon's adoption fee is $60, she is up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, dewormed, flea & tick treated, tested negative for FeLV, FIV, and Panleukopenia, microchipped and spayed. You can stop in anytime between 12 pm - 5 pm Tuesday through Friday and 11 am to 3 pm on Saturday to meet them or any of our available cats and kittens. You do need to arrive no later than 30 minutes before closing to be able to adopt. We are closed to the public for Rascal Clinics and staff training, please check our Facebook page for closures or call us at 937-393-2110.
