Story
Missy was a feral cat that kept having litters of kittens in town. We were finally able to catch her, get her spayed, ear-tipped, and given a rabies shot. She would do best as a barn cat. She will need to go to a home with experience with barn cats. Barn cats will still need to be fed and given water daily, but they will help keep small rodents and snakes away from your home. This is a cat that you will not be able to hold and expect to be a normal house cat.

Story
She is very sweet and friendly, but she wants to be the only cat in a home. She is used to primarily eating dry food (prefers Purina EN) but we found some Fancy Feast broth that she loves too. In the past she had trouble using a litter box for peeing, but she has not had any accidents in a couple of months. She is on Fluoxetine which is a gel that goes on the hairless area of an ear flap – switch ear flaps daily. This medication is in a transdermal gel applicator. The cost of this medicine is $75.34 for three pens on an auto ship for every 12 weeks. This medicine does have to be set up by her vet and Feline Specialties does this for her now. We feel this gel does need to be continued with her. She would love to have a home of her own. All cats have tested negative for FeLeuk/FIV and are current on rabies and FVRCP vaccinations.  All kitties have Home Again microchips implanted and are registered at no charge to the owner.  Adoption fee - $75; If 65 years or older Adoption fee - $65; If adopting two cats - $135; If 65 years or older adopting two cats - $125.  StreetCats is located at 60th & S. Sheridan in Tulsa on the east side of Sheridan behind Charlie’s Chicken.  We are open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30 a.m. until 5 p.m.  Our website is www.streetcatstulsa.org and Facebook is www.facebook.com/streetcatsinc. All people wanting to adopt must come into StreetCats and have all members who live with them come in also.  We do not adopt out of the state of Oklahoma and prefer to adopt in the greater Tulsa area.  September 11, 2024, 12:12 am

Story
Marci is a darling tortoiseshell female with cream colors around her neck.  She came in weighing 8.6 lbs. and she’s learned to enjoy wet food since she only ate Taste of the Wild dry food previously.  She is shy but sweet and can be playful when she feels comfortable.  She lived with another cat previously but was afraid of it.  In StreetCats she isn’t buddies with other cats so she may prefer a home of her own without other pets (she has not been around children or dogs), but also someone who will pay a lot of attention to her.    She’s a cutie pie that you need to come in and meet.
