Story
Meet Cucumber! Cucumber is a sweet, chatty and affectionate cat. She loves to make cute chirping sounds to gain attention, love, and treats from her foster family. Although she was found as a stray, she loves people and is not timid when meeting new guests. As she is a young cat, she is curious and adaptable. She loves to play with toys and has a lot of energy, she would be well suited for a family with kids or attentive adults that enjoy making time to play and have the space in their home for her to enjoy following you around! Cucumber can get very excited during play time and can give light "love bites" in the process (these are light and do not hurt). She seeks affection and cuddling as much as play time and enjoys sleeping with her foster family throughout the night!Cucumber has good litter box etiquette and enjoys being brushed. If you think this chatty and active girl is the one for you, apply online today! Cucumber is spayed and treated for fleas.

Story
Name, age: Jinx (Jinxy), 3mLikes: attention (once he trusts you and is comfortable), treats, playing roughly with another cat friend, toys (particularly balls with bells, catnip stuffies, and wands.Dislikes: loud noises, sudden movements, his carrierWhat would be the ideal home? A home that will be patient with him while he gets comfortable and has an understanding that his not aggressive, he's just scared. Good with other cats? Yes, though he does like to wrestle and is extremely vocal while doing so. Good with dogs? Unknown, I suspect he would be ok with an older dog that won't chase him. Good with children? Yes, ideally 5+Personality: Jinx is a timid boy. But once he trusts you he is very affectionate. He will rub up against your legs for attention and stand up and paw at you if he's not getting it. I've never met a cat that is more playful than Jinx. He's also a bit goofy and clumsy; will fall off the side of cat trees, etc. How long will it take to settle into a new environment? Several weeks to be comfortable being around people, at least a month to be comfortable and less skiddish. Any special needs or traits an adopter should know? Jinx is very vocal, and will hiss when uncomfortable at first, and is likely to run and hide at loud noises and sudden movements. Jinx is also a messy, messy boy. A hooded kitty litter would be recommend to minimize litter flying everywhere. If Jinx requires medication it is extremely easy to administer it. Jinx is not quite sure what to make of being brushed. We're working on it but it will take some time before he's comfortable with assistance grooming. Jinx's foster home has an Instagram account if you would like to see more pictures and videos there: fosterlife23If you think Jinx is the one for you - fill out an application today!
