Story
ATTENTION: These animals are strays and were found without an owner. They are currently in a stray hold period and are not yet available for adoption. SoHumane will hold all stray dogs and cats for a minimum of 7 days, starting from the day they are brought into our shelter. If you believe this animal is yours, please come to visit us at SoHumane with proof of ownership: 1.    Valid Identification: If the owner can provide a government-issued ID that matches the name and address associated with the pet's microchip or license. 2.    Microchip Registration: If the owner's contact information is registered with the pet's microchip, and they can provide documentation or proof of registration. 3.    Veterinary Records: If the owner can provide veterinary records or other documentation that proves ownership, such as a bill of sale or adoption paperwork. 4.    Photos: If the owner can provide recent photos of themselves with the pet or photos that show unique identifying features, such as markings or scars. To ensure the health and safety of all animals at our shelter, SoHumane has established a policy that every animal brought in as a stray will receive basic vaccines and microchipping upon arrival. By vaccinating each animal upon arrival, we can help prevent the spread of disease to other animals at the shelter and reduce the risk of illness for the animals in our care. Microchipping each animal also helps to ensure that if the animal is lost again in the future, they can be quickly identified and reunited with their owner. This helps to prevent animals from becoming long-term residents of our shelter It is important to note that the animal may be receiving further medical treatment, as determined by our Vet Care Team. We prioritize the health and well-being of all animals in our care and will do our best to ensure that this animal receives the appropriate medical attention.

Story
Free: 2 cats. They are three years old. Fritz is laid back and monkey is playful. They have a strong bond with each other, and they are both lap cats who are affectionate and social. They share a litter box and food bowel. They are compatiple with other pets and children. They have never been sick, and they get their teeth cleaned every year. They have been raised as indoor cats and do not have any outdoor experience. I am wanting to find a new home for them because my job is requiring that I travel often. There will be no charge for the adoption and I have litter box supplies, food, and carrying crates. Another supply is carrying cases for them. I can be contacted by phone (541-941-2608) or email (jacquelyn.hutchings@hotmail.com).

Story
This is Rocky! Rocky came to live with us just a few days ago but is already right at home! He loves the other cats that he is housed with because he is very friendly and outgoing. He enjoys being with one of his housemates Cody the most, they are inseparable, you will often find them grooming each other. We would love for them to be adopted together. Rocky was picked up as a stray so we do not know much about his history but we do know he is FIV+ which means he will need to be an indoor kitty only. If you are looking to add a sweet and friendly cat to your home, Rocky is the kitty for you! Put in you Adoption Application today: https://sanctuaryone.org/rescue-animals/adopt-us/adoption-application/

Story
Little man Franklin is a bit reserved, but for the right person he could blossom into the sweet, loving baby we know he is. He has been known to drool when he is getting some really good pets and is very calm. He is an FIV+ cat, so that means he would need to be an indoor kitty only, and he is bonded to his buddy Lil Bear. If you are interested in adopting Franklin, please contact us or fill out an adoption application on our website today! https://sanctuaryone.org/rescue-animals/adopt-us/adoption-application/
