Story
Alvin came to us as a stray with his brother and mother. Alvin has been very shy since coming to the shelter in early March. He would hide in the back of his kennel and show fear when strange faces would appear. Alvin has made so much progress since then! He now allows human interaction and doesn't hide in fear. He approaches cautiously but once he realizes your here to pet him, he will soak up all the attention. He is still getting used to this new environment, but every day is progress. As he continues to open up, his personality becomes more relaxed and even playful! He will now bat at you through the kennel in a playful manner. Alvin is still a little nervous around some of the other cats. As cats wonder the cat room, Alvin will put his paw out in hopes of connecting with a friend. He seems more curious than anything. If Alvin seems like the playful pet you're looking for, apply today to meet this sweet boy!

Story
Buzz Lightyear is still trying to settle into his new environment. Coming from the situation he and many other friends were in, it seems hard for him to trust humans and new faces. He seems to just want to be by himself. He will let you pet him, but he is very nervous. He doesn't necessarily show aggression, but he definitely shows caution. We hope now that he is ready for adoption, he can continue to make progress with his personality and open up a little more. Seeing new faces while on the adoption floor might also help him come out of his shell a bit more. If you're interested in giving a shy cat a good home and are willing to show patience through the meet and greet process, Buzz Lightyear might be the cat for you!

Story
Gaston is still taking his time warming up to us here at the shelter. He came from a rough situation and understandably has a hard time trusting people and new faces. Once he comes around and lets you pet him, he will purr to show how much he enjoys the attention. Gaston is still fearful at quick movements. He will come to the front of the kennel to get his pets, but then runs to the back of the kennel when he hears a loud noise or if you move to fast. He doesn't seem to like being held, but that may change once he warms up to everyone. He is a very good hide and seek player! He could be hiding in a spot for a while and wouldn't make his presence known for a long time. He's a very sneaky boy! He doesn't seem to mind other cats. He's very cautious, but curious, as he walks through the cat room to investigate the other kennels. We feel once Gaston starts warming up to the world around him more and realizes that he's no longer going to be treated how he was in the past, he will be a good companion to have in the home.

Story
Gooseberry is a silly girl. At 1.5 years old, she enjoys playing and roaming. She likes to lay down and bat at hands and roll over like a dog. Her playfulness is accompanied by sweet affection and a loving personality. She likes to be held. She is so fluffy, we could just pet her all day! Gooseberry came to us as a stray with a few other cats, so we believe she'd be fine being rehomed with other cats.

Story
Meet Moo! Moo was brought to us from a rough situation along with many other cats. Moo can be a bit timid at first, but once he gets to know you he is a big baby. Moo loves pets and chin scratches of course. He also loves to play by himself, especially when there's catnip involved. When Moo isn't receiving affection or playing you can typically find this long-haired boy curled up in his cat bed. So, if you have a little patience and are ready to make a loyal best friend, consider putting in an adoption application for Moo! Primary Color: White Secondary Color: Black Age: 6yrs 4mths 2wks

Story
Meet Moon, Moon was a kitten in a Stray Colony, she is very nervous but becoming more trusting each day. Who can blame her? Humans have done her a disservice by allowing her to be discarded outdoors in the first place. Moon is litter-trained, quiet, sweet, and loving. She when approached calmly will push into you for affection and begin the biggest purr session ever. We are slowly teaching that being picked up is not so scary but for now, she does best at her own pace. She does like to sit in a window or up in her perch. She does well with other cats and is tolerant of calm dogs. She has never been tested with children and would most likely do better with older calmer children but would be frightened of smaller children. Moon is spayed and up to date on all vaccines, dewormed, and flea-treated. She just needs that perfect patient person to find her!

Story
Edward is a 7 month old stunning gray cat with a white bib and paws who will be the first to greet you when you walk in the door - hoping you will sit down so he can be the first to jump on your lap. Laps, and the TLC he craved, eluded him during his first year of life as he lived with 58 other cats in the feces/urine lined home of a hoarder. Once rescued, he and his 3 brothers were shaved to remove the matted waste, medicated, altered, and placed in the home of a foster where they received what they were all starving for - attention and affection. Edward's great disposition would make a valuable addition to anyone who is willing to spend some time with him. His loud purr will convince you that you both made the right decision in adding him to your family. Please plan a visit soon!

Story
Hello! My name is Melon! I am the sweetest 8 month old little lady you will ever meet! I unfortunately have had a rough life so far. I came into the shelter with a horribly infected eyeball. The staff and foster did what they could but for the best interest of my overall health they did need to remove it. It doesn't hold me back though! I am your normal kitten who does all the normal kitten things! In my foster home I did well with kids, other cats and dogs! Complete an application to meet with me!
