Hello there. My name is Hummingbird and I`m a seven year old female. I am a gorgeous little lady and I know it! I deserve all the attention and treats. I`m looking for my forever home where I will be spoiled rotten! I am as sweet as can be and I will purr loudly as soon as anyone comes near. I came into the shelter with pyometra but I got treated and am doing much better! I am FIV+ so I cannot live with other cats and I have yet to be tested with dogs. I can live with calm kids who know when to give me my space. Fill out an application today to meet my gorgeous self!

Story
Meet Boo & Baker🤍 Boo is a six-year-old all-white beauty with a gentle soul. She is deaf and bonds deeply with her people. She loves watching birds from a sunny window and is an excellent guest greeter. Boo must be adopted with her brother, Baker, her all-gray counterpart. They are bonded and truly thrive together. Baker is a little shy at first but becomes incredibly affectionate once he feels safe. He loves to play fetch and is a champion snuggler. They need a calm home with no dogs and no other cats, and humans who have time and space to give them lots of affection. Boo is particular about a clean litter box, and Baker eats prescription urinary food, so budgeting for his diet is important. We love them dearly. We adopted them during the pandemic when life was slower, but our schedules have become too busy, and their dad has developed allergies. We want them to have the attentive, peaceful home they deserve. 🤍🐾

Story
Meet Rupert & Hedwig – a perfectly mismatched, completely inseparable duo ready to bring double the love (and double the toe beans!) into your life. At two years old, these medium-haired best friends are past the wild kitten chaos but still young, playful, and full of personality. Rupert is the orange-and-white charmer of the pair. He’s the social director, the welcoming committee, the guy who walks right up to you like you’ve been friends forever. He loves to be held and is more than happy to supervise whatever you’re doing. Bonus: Rupert is polydactyl and sports two extra toes, which basically means bonus mittens and extra-special high fives. Hedwig, his black-and-white shadow, is a little more reserved at first. Give him a minute, and more importantly, a gentle scratch under the neck… and he absolutely melts. Rupert gives him confidence, and with his best buddy by his side, Hedwig blossoms into a sweet, affectionate boy. He has his own unique twist too — a dual thumb claw on one paw, making him just as special and one-of-a-kind as his brother. These two balance each other beautifully: Rupert brings the boldness, Hedwig brings the tender sweetness, and together they create the coziest little team. You’ll often find them lounging side by side, grooming each other, or quietly observing the world from a comfy perch. They’re looking for a calm home without young children, where they can settle in, feel safe, and share their gentle affection. If you’ve got a peaceful space and room in your heart for two very special boys (with some truly legendary paws), Rupert and Hedwig are ready to be your forever companions. Their adoption donation is $190 and includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing, microchip, and neuter. If you would like more information on Rupert, please contact lovingcarecatrescue@gmail.com. Story
Hercules was once a shy and timid boy who seemed as if the "feral cat life" suited him better than indoor house cat life. Hercules came in near the beginning of March and has made so much progress warming up to humans that we think he'd make a wonderful indoor companion. Hercules has gone through a lot in his rough past, but he's ready to put his best paw forward and find his new furever home. Hercules is around 3 years old. He doesn't seem to mind some of the other cats here at the shelter. We believe he'd do better with dogs if he wasn't in a kennel, but even behind the kennel he wasn't outwardly aggressive when a dog walked through the cat room. We believe Hercules could adjust to life with other animals if given the chance. If you have other pets, a trial adoption might be the way to go with Hercules! Hercules is making progress every day! He's still working on being picked up by humans, but he enjoys getting pets and scratches from the safety of his kennel. He is also extremely treat-motivated! He seems to enjoy laying around and relaxing in true lazy cat fashion. After stretching and yawning, he would make the purr-fect decoration for your couch.
