Story
This kitten is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $75 if picked up in TN. Visit http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/cat-adoption-application/ to apply. Contain yourself, it's Cantera! At just 2.5 months old, this fuzzy Domestic Medium Hair with a gorgeous coat black coat and big ear tufts is looking for his furever home. This super sweet boy was found in a dumpster and rescued by some amazing, kind individuals. Cantera is laid back and loves to sleep in the sun and hang out in the cat tree. Although he has a lot of kitten energy, he loves a good snuggle and would be an ideal addition to any loving home. One look into Cantera's captivating eyes and you'll be smitten. Cantera would be good in an active or a quiet home with other cats and perhaps cat-savvy children and dogs or could even be happy with just people to play with. Does Cantera sound like the right fit for you? If so, apply today!  Interested in adopting? Take the first step and complete an adoption application on our website: http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/adoption-apps/ If you have questions that are not covered in the profile, visit the Pet Inquiry Form: http://aarf-tn.com/contact/pet-inquiry-form/. THIS PET IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE! We do list and adopt our pets nationwide. Typical transport cost to the Northeast is $180. Due to interstate adoption regulations, we are not able to adopt to RI and MA state residents. A.A.R.F. (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) http://aarf-tn.com/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Thank you for thinking adoption first! Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption. October 1, 2023, 6:48 pm

Story
Lucy is around 1 year old. Beautiful and talkative. She is a good eater, uses litter box, bird watch's. She seems depressed, unhappy and bored. She won't hardly play, won't climb cat tree, hides when ppl come over. My grandson has barely seen her in 2 mos. She is needy and would hate a lot of ppl. That is my take on her. She doesn't want to be held or picked up. I'm not happy with the situation here. My apt isn't huge but she acts so bored. She wants to be outside which I can't do here. I feel sorry for her but I have tried. She needs something I don't have. She came from Shelter, chipped, vaccinated and fixed.

Story
Currently located in: Standish, ME Adoptable in: ANYWHERE! (Transport available to most places!) Good with dogs: Yes Good with cats: Yes, as always a proper slow introduction will be required as with any other kitties being introduced to a home. Please refer to https://www.jacksongalaxy.com/blog/the-dos-and-donts-of-introducing-cats/ Good with kids: Yes! Litter box trained: Yes! House trained: Yes! Meet Ezra & Valor! Ezra was found abandoned and was going to be put to sleep because it was found that he is FIV+. We took him into our rescue because cats that are FIV+ can live long and healthy lives and there is absolutely no reason for them to be put to sleep just for this reason alone. He is a little scared and shy but enjoys pets. Ezra enjoys lounging in the sun, hanging out on cat trees and watching the birds from his window perch. Valor was found at a restaurant abandoned. He is very shy and timid and will need time to warm up to you, but once he does, he is very lovable. He is also FIV+ and has ZERO health issues. We have included a couple of links about FIV so you can learn more here: https://vbspca.com/what-you-should-know-when-adopting-an-fiv-positive-cat/ https://www.alleycat.org/resources/feline-immunodeficiency-virus-fiv/ If you think you are the right home for them, please apply to adopt him here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScq8ShXPVGLfrGHlIYMk0plgI_PJxOEMdr8QItpQMXYCnluvg/viewform All of our animals are fully vetted before going to their furever homes. They are spayed/neutered, current on vaccines, dewormed, up to date on flea/tick prevention, heartworm prevention, and microchipped! The adoption fee is $550. We do not accept deposits or the adoption fee until you have your new fur-members. Please Note: All animals are posted until they are officially adopted. This animal may have other interested adopters in line. Please apply quickly if you are interested. We are very quick to respond and process applications! You will be required to provide 2 non family personal references, a home video tour and a vet reference if you’ve previously had animals. Please feel free to send video to our email or facebook upon submitting an application, this lets us know you are serious and ready but also helps us to get you approved quickly. We will text and or call upon receiving your application to schedule a phone interview. You must be an approved adopter in order to go on meet and greets. This saves everyone’s time- especially our gracious foster families! This also allows for you to take the animals home from the meet and greet if you so choose. Interested in fostering? We would love to have you join our family! Fill out the same application above- we have our fosters go through the same process as adopters! Questions? Please email whiskersfunds@gmail.com or message us on facebook! For more photos, or information on upcoming adoption events where you can meet them, please go to our Facebook page www.facebook.com/whiskersfund Thank you for helping to save lives!
