Story
Can you say HUNKules? This handsome tuxedo senior was rescued from a busy Houston highway by a wonderfully Good Samaritan. She immediately took him to a vet clinic for care and discovered this 7 year old guy weighed only a measley 4.5lbs. She reached out to our rescue for help, and we couldn’t say no after seeing his fragile, tiny body. Hercules is now eating high calorie food on a feeding schedule to help him regain his strength. Hercules is FIV+, but does not care about cats anyway! He does not mind the presence of dogs at all! Foster mom reports he is very cuddly, curious and loving. Hercules' adoption fee is sponsored. Please send us an inquiry to meet Hercules in the BCS area.To have your home considered for adoption, read about our adoption process or fees, and find out about interstate transport (dogs only), please visit our website.https://longwayhome.org/apply ❤ Long Way Home makes no guarantees on breed--most animals we receive from shelters are mixed breeds. Ahoy, matey! Lady Killigrew is here to sail away with your heart. This darling medium-haired kitten was rescued from an overcrowded South Texas shelter with a protruding left eye. She is currently too little to have surgery performed, so she is being kept comfortable on pain medication and antibiotics. Her foster mom reports Lady is a bold and confident kitten who gets along well with other cats/dogs and loves to play with toys. Lady is available for a foster-to-adopt trial local to Bryan/College Station.
