Story
Collette is a very laid-back, sweet girl that likes to lay around and just take in the scenery. She loves to be petted and enjoys playing with toy mice, especially if they are coated in catnip! Collette enjoys good conversation and affection with the people she knows and trusts. But like many cats, she can get nervous in new situations or where there is a lot of activity, so she would do best in a quiet home. Collette doesn't mind other cats, but is not likely to be playful with them, and she is okay with dogs as long as they respect her. Collette is on a special diet and a low dose medication due to past GI issues. She also has Chronic Kidney Disease, is hyperthyroid and has arthritis. She is on different medications to help and receives fluids to help her feel good. Even with all her medical issues Collette is a wonderful senior feline, who is still enjoying life into her golden years! Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 16, 2024, 12:05 am

Story
Dawn was one of the smallest of her siblings in a litter of six.  She is an independent gal who keeps to herself.  She is around cats every day but prefers napping on a fuzzy blanket. (Who doesn't??) She can be a bit timid towards strangers, but once you hold her, she is all snuggles!  She has quite the 'I can do anything' attitude. Even though she likes her solitude, another cat in the home could be beneficial to help her gain more confidence.  She is young enough where she would be okay with dogs too but maybe an older one that has the manners and boundaries that she needs. Dawn is ready to be a new addition to your family! If you would like to meet me, please visit our website and complete the pre-adoption application.  Once it has been processed then we can make a date to get together! All cats are spayed/neutered (deposit required if too young), vaccinated, dewormed, flea and tick treated, microchipped and more before adoption. Our adoption policies include: Application, Vet reference, Landlord approval & Criminal Background Check. HSBC has a policy of not declawing, which is included on our Adoption Contract.  We do not do same day adoptions. We request that you call for an appointment after your application has been approved to come and visit the cat of your choice.   Please visit our website for additional information. The online application can be found at: https://hsburnettcty.org/adoption-guidelines/May 17, 2024, 5:15 pm
