Story
Turbo loves playing with toys, with his brother Fluffy and with people. Sometimes he will gently nip when he wants to play or get affection, but he is still quite friendly. He may be shy when he first meets someone, but once he is comfortable with them, he is very outgoing with a loud purr. Turbo would best fit a home where he would have a cat playmate. Turbo and his brother Fluffy (listed separately) originally came to UAF from a shelter in NM and were adopted by a loving family who adored the kittens. Unfortunately, the family dog became obsessed with the kittens, and the family determined that they needed to find a new home for the kittens so that they would not be harmed by the dog. These siblings like to snuggle and play together. We would prefer that they be adopted together, but might consider adopting them separately under the right circumstances. Turbo is a short hair brown tabby with white who was born 10/3/23. Turbo is current on vaccinations, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, is neutered and is microchipped. Our adoption fee for one altered kitten (up to 1 year old) is $100 and for two altered kittens is $125 which helps cover expenses (vaccinations, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets United Animal Friends rescues. If a kitten is adopted and taken home before the required set of kitten vaccinations is completed, the adopter will be responsible for completing any of the required vaccinations including a rabies vaccination at 4 months at their own expense. If you have any questions or to adopt a cat from United Animal Friends (UAF) an application must be filled out. Filling out this form does not obligate you to adopt, but gives us the information needed to make sure the pet is suited to your home. From the Petfinder website (Petfinder.com) click the 'More About Us Button' and then click on the 'Adoption Application' button that will take you to the United Animal Friends website. Then follow the UAF website directions below: From the United Animal Friends website: Select "Adoptable Cats" and pick the cat you are interested in. To apply to adopt, open the cat's profile, and click the gray "Apply for Adoption" button to get started. The fastest way to get to the adoptable cat page is to copy and then paste this link into your browser: https://unitedanimalfriends.org/adoptable-cats/ A United Animal Friends representative will contact you soon after receiving the application form. Story
Luna, and her brother Tuna (listed separately), are 3-year-old, friendly, affectionate cats. Their owner stated that they are amazing cats, good with dogs and children. They were originally adopted from us as kittens. They would love to go to the same home if possible. The reason they were given up is because they would not leave the new human baby alone - they loved the baby too much! Luna is a short hair, grey. She is current on vaccinations, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, is spayed and is microchipped. Our adoption fee for one altered adult cat (1 year to 7 years old) is $85 and for two altered adult cats is $105 which helps cover expenses (vaccinations, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets United Animal Friends rescues. Story
Jaguar, and her sister Cheetah (listed separately), sound like they may be tough characters from their names, but they are actually sweethearts. They love attention and being petted. They are good with children and dogs. Jaguar is a bit more adventurous than Cheetah and Cheetah is a bit more affectionate than Jaguar, but they are both amazing cats. Jaguar is a short hair, white cat with black tabby markings who is 3 years old. She is current on vaccinations, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, is spayed and is microchipped.
