Story
Charlee, who is 4-years-old, had a very rough first year in her life. Charlee will only accept attention given with a loving light hand when she feels safe. She is shy and needs a patient adopter who can give this beautiful girl a chance to warm up and feel comfortable. She is happy to perch on a sunny window sill and watch the neighborhood bird activity, hopping down to see what interesting things you're doing. Charlee has lived with a senior cat in the past, so a low energy companion would be familiar to her. Charlee is a short hair calico who is current on vaccinations, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, is spayed and is microchipped. Our adoption fee for one altered adult cat (1 year to 7 years old) is $85 which helps cover expenses (vaccinations, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets United Animal Friends rescues. There is a discounted adoption fee for a second cat that is adopted at the same time. If you have any questions or to adopt a cat from United Animal Friends (UAF) an application must be filled out. Filling out this form does not obligate you to adopt, but gives us the information needed to make sure the pet is suited to your home. From the Petfinder website (Petfinder.com) click the 'More About Us Button' and then click on the 'Adoption Application' button that will take you to the United Animal Friends website. Then follow the UAF website directions below: From the United Animal Friends website: Select "Adoptable Cats" and pick the cat you are interested in. To apply to adopt, open the cat's profile, and click the gray "Apply for Adoption" button to get started. The fastest way to get to the adoptable cat page is to copy and then paste this link into your browser: https://unitedanimalfriends.org/adoptable-cats/ A United Animal Friends representative will contact you soon after receiving the application form. Bea, a very friendly, outgoing girl who loves attention, is looking for a forever home. A black and white short hair, Bea was relinquished to United Animal Friends by someone who had taken her in as a stray. After giving birth to a litter, Bea and her babies went into foster care. While raising her kittens, she has grown to be playful, funny and good with children. The 2-year-old is very active and curious. Bea weighs about 6 pounds. She is current on vaccinations, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, is spayed and is microchipped. She would do best as an only cat. Story
Kulo and her housemate, Simba (listed separately), were brought to UAF when their family had to suddenly move and the new location did not allow cats. Kulo is an affectionate sweet girl. The way to her heart is chin scratches and neck rubs. When she isn't being inquisitive and exploring, she wants to be in the same room with you and tends to follow you around. Kulo would love a lap to call her own with as much attention as you can provide. She often tries to ace out Simba if he is the one receiving attention. She is starting to enjoy playing with toys. While she is not picky about her cat food, she doesn't seem to like treats. Kulo has the softest coat that feels like velvet. She is fine with other cats and has adjusted to being around dogs. These two are very close and watch out for each other. They truly are a bonded pair. Simba and Kulo are best friends and would do best in a home together. Kulo is a 2.5-year-old, short hair, black who is current on vaccinations, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, is spayed and is microchipped. Our adoption fee for one altered adult cat (1 year to 7 years old) is $85 and for two altered adult cats is $105 which helps cover expenses (vaccinations, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets United Animal Friends rescues. If you have any questions or to adopt a cat from United Animal Friends (UAF) an application must be filled out. Story
Miss Muffins and her brother Salty are 1.5-year-old littermates who would love to go to the same home, but they might do okay in separate homes as well. Both are very affectionate and loving. Miss Muffins is a tad bit more timid than Salty, but they would both make great constant companions. They have lived with large dogs, we do not know how they are with kids. They were taken in with their mother by a caring senior couple when they were just babies. They have been relinquished by their very senior owner who recently lost her husband and can no longer care for them. Miss Muffins is a short hair, brown tabby who is current on vaccinations, is spayed and is microchipped. Our adoption fee for one altered adult cat (1 year to 7 years old) is $85 which helps cover expenses (vaccinations, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets United Animal Friends rescues.
