Story
Turbo loves playing with toys, with his brother Fluffy and with people. Sometimes he will gently nip when he wants to play or get affection, but he is still quite friendly. He may be shy when he first meets someone, but once he is comfortable with them, he is very outgoing with a loud purr. Turbo would best fit a home where he would have a cat playmate. Turbo and his brother Fluffy (listed separately) originally came to UAF from a shelter in NM and were adopted by a loving family who adored the kittens. Unfortunately, the family dog became obsessed with the kittens, and the family determined that they needed to find a new home for the kittens so that they would not be harmed by the dog. These siblings like to snuggle and play together. We would prefer that they be adopted together, but might consider adopting them separately under the right circumstances. Turbo is a short hair brown tabby with white who was born 10/3/23. Turbo is current on vaccinations, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, is neutered and is microchipped. Our adoption fee for one altered kitten (up to 1 year old) is $100 and for two altered kittens is $125 which helps cover expenses (vaccinations, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets United Animal Friends rescues. If a kitten is adopted and taken home before the required set of kitten vaccinations is completed, the adopter will be responsible for completing any of the required vaccinations including a rabies vaccination at 4 months at their own expense. If you have any questions or to adopt a cat from United Animal Friends (UAF) an application must be filled out. Filling out this form does not obligate you to adopt, but gives us the information needed to make sure the pet is suited to your home. Story
Gooby is a very sweet and friendly 3-year-old with expressive eyes that will melt your heart. She enjoys playing with toys and is quite active and social. The shorthair brown tabby is affectionate with adults, but probably would not be comfortable in a household with small children. Gooby needs to be the only cat. She has her toys, a scratching post and a little bed that will go with her to her new home. Gooby is current on vaccinations, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, is spayed and is microchipped. Our adoption fee for one altered adult cat (1 year to 7 years old) is $85 which helps cover expenses (vaccinations, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets United Animal Friends rescues. There is a discounted adoption fee for a second cat that is adopted at the same time. If you have any questions or to adopt a cat from United Animal Friends (UAF) an application must be filled out.
