Lucy came into rescue with 3 kittens. She was shy and reclusive for awhile, but has grown into a sweet, affectionate and appreciative cat. She is a lovely girl who deserves to be taken care of by a special family. She is unsure of people at first, but will warm up to a kind and sensitive owner.j These last months she has developed a bond with another of our cats, Mr. Knightly. This is a HUGE step forward in the social progress for both of these cats and we do not want to separate them. It's hard to find a good friend in this world and Lucy and Knightly both deserve to keep the friendship. We ask they be adopted together. We are looking for a kind heart to offer them a home together. There is no adoption fee for our animals, but a donation to Friends is much appreciated and much needed. Cash or check only - we do not take credit cards.

Beauty is really beautiful. Her coat is glossy and jet black and she has white on her chest and tummy and under both hind legs. Her personality is also beautiful--affectionate and super playful and very secure in herself. A lovely young girl who is ready for a new home. there is no adoption fee for our animals, but a donation to Friends is always much needed and much appreciated.

This little girl came to the site at 5 weeks old with her sister, Ruby, who has been adopted. Opal is a sweet cat that has a lot of personality and energy. Her ears look huge compared to the rest of her since they are a lighter color. She is very petite and will be getting fixed on May 1 and will be available a few days after for adoption. Come on in and meet her. There is no fee but a $75 deposit is required on our kittens that have not been spayed or neutered. It is refundable once veterinary proof of the surgery is received.. Donations are always much appreciated and much needed. We are unable to utilize debit or credit cards so deposits and donations are cash only please.

Patches has a beautiful, mostly white coat with patches of black. He loves to play and draws close to humans cuddling and purring when he is ready to settle down. He is always the first one to come and visit when we are cleaning. He was good with chidren in the playroom and you can literally vacuum all around him without him moving. A sweet and calm young boy. He loves to play with his siblings and gets along with all the other young adults in the playroom. There is no adoption fee for our animals but donations are always much appreciated and much needed. With plenty of petting and gentle talking he will purr his way into your heart. Patience is the key with this one. Does not like quick actions and loud noises so children would not be recommend.
