Lucy came into rescue with 3 kittens. She was shy and reclusive for awhile, but has grown into a sweet, affectionate and appreciative cat. She is a lovely girl who deserves to be taken care of by a special family. She is unsure of people at first, but will warm up to a kind and sensitive owner.j These last months she has developed a bond with another of our cats, Mr. Knightly. This is a HUGE step forward in the social progress for both of these cats and we do not want to separate them. It's hard to find a good friend in this world and Lucy and Knightly both deserve to keep the friendship. We ask they be adopted together. We are looking for a kind heart to offer them a home together. There is no adoption fee for our animals, but a donation to Friends is much appreciated and much needed. Cash or check only - we do not take credit cards.

Beauty is really beautiful. Her coat is glossy and jet black and she has white on her chest and tummy and under both hind legs. Her personality is also beautiful--affectionate and super playful and very secure in herself. A lovely young girl who is ready for a new home. there is no adoption fee for our animals, but a donation to Friends is always much needed and much appreciated.

Story

Patches has a beautiful, mostly white coat with patches of black. He loves to play and draws close to humans cuddling and purring when he is ready to settle down. He is always the first one to come and visit when we are cleaning. He was good with chidren in the playroom and you can literally vacuum all around him without him moving. A sweet and calm young boy. He loves to play with his siblings and gets along with all the other young adults in the playroom. There is no adoption fee for our animals but donations are always much appreciated and much needed. We are unable to utilize debit or credit cards so deposits and donations are cash only please.

Mr. Black is from the litter of 7 that came in from Portola. They were born outside to a feral mother and he is still unsure of people. He is getting better at trusting humans, but is not a super confident kitten at this point. He purrs and likes affection and loves wet food!! and he is gorgeous with a think shiny coat. There is no adoption fee for our animals, but a donation to Friends is always much appreciated and much needed.

Story

Skunk is rescued from the Quincy Animal Shelter in early January. She is super friendly and was turned over to the animal shelter due to the owner's child developing allergies to cats. She is a real cutie and becoming a favorite to the volunteers. She is vaccinated and spayed and has been an indoor/outdoor cat. Come on down and meet her. There is no adoption fee but we do ask for a donation since we are a non-profit organization.
