Story
My partner and I rescued Toast when he was around 6-8 weeks old -- we heard his little mews from the woods across the street from our apartment and couldn't resist taking him in. Over the next year we got him neutered, chipped, and fully up to date on vaccinations. Toast is now almost 4 years old and weighs about 20 pounds! He likes to throw his entire weight into getting good pets and head scritches. He's a bit of a scaredy cat sometimes, but he's a big gentle boy. He loves to take naps on our back patio, so you score big bonus points with him if you have a patio where he can snooze! It takes Toast a week or two to get used to a new environment, but once he knows he's safe, he has a lot of love to give. (While he is getting used to a new environment, he is not in any way aggressive. He just hides until he feels ready!) My partner and I are moving soon, and unfortunately there is a policy against cats. We're looking for someone who can love our Toot Toot as much as we have!
