Story
I am trying to find a home for this SWEET boy who just showed up at our place. After a month or so of feeding him outside and slowly getting him to trust me, I've moved him in to our screened in porch, and inside with us all day. He is becoming quite the cuddler, he has to have his morning hug. I don't think he's ever known kindness or love in his life, but he's learning how nice it is to be fed and have a safe place to sleep. He was so skittish at first, and I thought he would always want to be an outdoor cat, but he's quickly starting to like the indoor life, he doesn't have much desire to go out anymore. I have had him neutered, vaccinated, treated for flea and tick, and microchipped, and he uses the litter box. The vet thinks he is about 2.5 yrs old. *We have 4 cats already, and a chihuahua so I'd prefer to find him another home, otherwise I would keep him, he's so sweet. I'll keep him as long as it takes. Fee is negotiable, I spend a lot on food, that was a consideration

Story
Meet Miss Calico! This girl is a little shy at first but can be easily bribed to offer up her attention with some wet food and treats. She does great with all the other cats in our free roaming cat room. We have not tested her with dogs or children but based on her easy going temperament she would probably do well once acclimated! She's the perfect cat combination of keeping herself busy and seeking out attention from humans. We'd love for you to come meet her!

Story
This handsome orange and white boy doesnt sport a mullet or a cowboy tie for that matter but we most definitely see a resemblance to his namesake on The Walking Dead. A little shy and awkward at first? Check. Determined to love his people wholeheartedly and become braver every day? Double check. Eugene has quickly come out of his shell in our care, says his foster mom. He is a calm, curious and sweet boy who likes to rub on me, get pets and purr! Eugene also enjoys playing with ball towers and hiding in a cat tunnel with his littermates, but nothing tops quality time with his humans. I feel that as he gains more confidence, he will get even more playful, but for now he is content with a lap and chin scratches. Is your home where Eugene of The Walking Dead litter will really come to life? - Buzz.

Story
There are cats that immediately warm up to anyone, anywhere. And then there are cats like Jake. You have to earn his trust, says his foster mom. But once you do boy, oh boy. He has so much love to give. After all, Jake came from a large outdoor colony where he didnt get much socialization. But just like his namesake on Blues Brothers, he was ready to hit the road to a better life. His foster mom used Churu, head pets and scratches behind the ears to quickly win him over, and she encourages potential adopters to remember the 3-3-3 rule: It takes three days to decompress, three weeks to learn a routine, and three months for a dog or cat to feel at home. And once Jake does? Hell charm his future family with his cute antics while batting at stuffed mice or little balls, and his shy but cuddly ways. Were on a mission from God to find Jake the home he so deserves. - Buzz.

Story
On a bleak day back in January, Jersey found himself on the side of the road, unable to walk and lying among dirty chunks of snow. Thank goodness a kind passerby found him, too, and made the decision to pull over to get Jersey the help he needed. It was obvious that this boy was pretty beat up, recalls his foster dad. When initial X-rays showed serious fractures to his left rear leg as well as his pelvis, Whiskers TNR turned to Critter Crusaders of Cedar Rapids, who took on Jerseys care through Iowa State Universitys Hixson-Lied Small Animal Hospital. Jersey needed extensive surgery to get everything repaired, but he is all healed up now and ready to find his forever home. Hes an all-around great cat who can bat at balls in a circle track for hours, gets along with other felines as well as pooches, and has been the absolute sweetest boy from the very beginning. Through everything that he has been through, his sweet demeanor has always shone through. He has never gotten snippy, even when in a considerable amount of pain. Will Jerseys long road to recovery lead to the home of his dreams with you? - Buzz.

Story
If youre looking for a little buddy who is ALL kitten, Jameson just might be purr-fect for you. One of the Irish Spirits trio who came from a large outdoor colony, he was shy at first but has he ever made up for lost time since! Jameson is a crazy playful boy that loves to goof around, says his foster dad. He is so sweet and friendly and loves to get some snuggles in between zoomies. In fact, Jameson has even found a favorite little buddy of his own, which he uses to put on quite the show: He found a wool cat-toy octopus that he loves to carry around and throw up in the air! He is so fun and outgoing that his foster dad thinks would thrive nearly anywhere. He has been so sweet since the day he came in. Those first pets changed the trajectory of his life. Are you ready to spirit away Jameson to a forever home with you? - Buzz.
