Domestic Shorthair kittens & cats in Derby, Kansas

Daisy is an almost 9 year old, short haired orange cat. She does fine with dogs, cats and kids. She is a very sweet cat but definitely thinks she’s the queen of the house. I want to find her a good, loving home. I unfortunately am moving into an apartment and unable to keep her.

He was recently returned to Beauties and Beasts after his owner was diagnosed with medical issues and could no longer care for him. But you know what? We don't mind having him back. He is a very sweet, loving, cuddly, excepting playful boy. He has got the cutest little face and White markings on his feet. He will transition well into any home. He's very smart and funny. He likes to greet you with the hiss, but don't be alarmed, that's a greeting for him and it means hello though it is confusing for the cats around him. He does enjoy cat friends and cat walk on a cat leash. Chong is a big boy, but he's got an even bigger heart. This boy was let down by humans when he fell victim to a hoarder home. Because of this he does have trust issues, but no worries he is easily won over with head scratches and his favorite canned friskies. Chong does take a little longer to warm up, and can come across as shy in the beginning. Once he can trust you he will be your very best friend. He does extremely well with other cats, and finds comfort in being close to his foster brothers. Dogs on the other hand are a big no for this feline. They stress him out, and after the amount of stress he has gone through he deserves to have peace in his forever home. I do prefer older kids to younger because I get scared of loud noises and I take 2.5mg of predislone a night to help keep my stomatitus at bay! Leopold is a handsome young man looking forward to his forever home! He is declawed on all four paws, and he will require a low stress environment to help with cystitis, but that's easy! Helen came into the Wichita Animal Shelter as a stray that was trapped on a golf course. She was taken to the shelter, and she wasn't reclaimed. Helen sat angry at the world around her as her time ticked away on death row. Thankfully, we were able to make space on our team to get Helen to safety so she could get well and decompress. She might take some time to adjust but she enjoys the company of her people and loves sleeping on the bed covers at night. Helen prefers a quite home, one where she does not have to compete for attention with fellow cats and needs a space set up for her to retreat to so as not to be disturbed by the busyness of the house. She is very cat selective and does not tolerate dogs. She would prefer to be the only cat with a family or person that would provide her with a lot of attention.
