Story
Mikey has been apart of our home since March '22. We got him from a shelter when he was about 1 y/o. He has been very receptive to young kids in the household, and is very patient with them. He is a very social, curious, and exploring cat. He seems to enjoy having a second cat in the house, and enjoys rough housing. However, he doesn't seem to meld well with our family situation. He seems to get bored/anxious a lot when our family is gone for extended periods, and with 2 young kids in school with both parents working full time, we don't have the time to continue trying to help his anxiety. He is currently on 1.5ml of prozac daily. This seems to help a bit, but he occasionally goes through behavior phases when something we can't identify changes in the house. During his depressed phases, he does tend to chew on cords and pee outside of the box. We are praying that Mikey finds a wonderful family that can love on him the way a good cat like him deserves!

Story
Lucy Lucy is an orange & white female DSH DOB: September 2022 Adoption fee: $75.00 I am a very sweet and loving girl with a shy side. I can be shy at first but when I get to know you, you will see my bubbly and goofy personality. I really enjoy following people around; I will follow you until I get my pets. I really enjoy all the pets and scratches! I can be playful, but most of the time I like to sit back and observe my surroundings and all the nature outside! I do enjoy playing with toys and I really like wand toys. I like to cuddle up and take a good long nap! I can be quite independent, but I still want all the loving’s I can get! I am still working on growing my confidence every day! I am such a sweet and loving girl! I should adjust to a cat friendly dog in the home, given a slow and positive introduction. I would do fine in a home with another cat who is looking for a playmate. I would be best with older children, pending observed interaction. I am a sweet and easy-going girl; I will make a purr-fect companion for the right person, couple, or family! If you are interested in being my adopter, please visit my shelter's website and complete the adoption application that is available there! HSSCM.org you can find the applications under the "adoptions" tab.

Daisy Daisy is a grey female DSH DOB: April 14th, 2021 Adoption fee: $75.00 I am a sweet girl and I love attention, but I am also independent. I love pets and scratches. I can be shy at first, but I come around pretty quick. I am learning and growing everyday how awesome humans can be. I am an observer and curious, I like to watch everything going on around me. I am not too playful, but I could see myself coming out of my shell and having some fun! I should adjust to a cat friendly dog in the home, given a slow and positive introduction. I would do fine in a home with an older cat who is not looking for a playmate, I would also do great being the only cat! I would be best with older children, pending observed interaction. I am a sweet and easy-going girl; I will make a purr-fect companion for the right person, couple, or family! I can be a bit shy and may need time to adjust, but when I do, I have a silly and fun personality! I love attention, I can be quite the lap cat. I enjoy cuddling up next to you and taking a nap. I will come to you when I am looking for attention, which is a lot of the time! There is a side to me that is independent, I enjoy taking good naps, watching birds out the window, and just relaxing! I can be quite calm, but I am still young, so I am playful. I enjoy toys (especially toys with feathers!) and the playing with the other cats in the room. I have a huge personality and I can wait to be able to show you and love up on you. I should do okay with another cat, I would do best with a cat looking for a friend. I should adjust to a cat friendly dog with a slow and proper introduction. I would do best with older children in the home pending observation. Timon Timon is an orange male DSH DOB: May 2023 Adoption fee: $75 I am a sweet but shy kitten! I can take a little bit of time to come around but when I do, I am full of love! I do love to cuddle up with my siblings and just relax. I can be quite playful like an average kitten, but I do enjoy sitting back and observing my surroundings! I can be very spunky when I want to be, but I will calm down and find my place to rest. I enjoy pets and scratches (especially on my butt and chin!) I am learning what it means to love humans and I am growing each and every day.. I would do fine in a home with another cat who is looking for a playmate and a cuddle partner, and I may do okay with a cat friendly dog with a slow and positive introduction. I may also be okay as an only cat. I would do best in a home with older children (8+) pending observation. I can be very unsure at first and may take some time to come around to the new environment. I am a big fan of taking long naps! I often am hanging out somewhere up high and a bit hidden, I do like to come out in the morning when there less going on in the catroom.
