They are all slowly but surely warming up and getting comfortable with human interaction. They were around many other cats and several dogs in their previous home.Cayenne is a gorgeous mostly black cat with a noticeable salt and pepper silver/white ticking throughout his coat and a super cute, round head. He and his family have taken a little bit longer to warm up to all the new humans in their life, but recently it feels like Cayenne has taken a huge step forward! Friendly, affectionate, and social, he is coming out of his box (literally!) to greet friends, old and new.

Fish joined us on shelter a long time ago with Sprite and Nugget, cats who have since been adopted. We discovered shortly after she entered our care that she was heavily pregnant. One of our wonderful fosterers took her home on the day that she had four perfect kittens, and she has very recently come back to complete her vetting after her kittens were weaned. Now that her kiddos have all gone to their adoptive homes, it is time for the attention to be on her!Fish is a TINY little lady. Still under a year old, she was no more than a baby herself when she raised her four. She craves attention and enjoys physical affection, although she does get upset when someone picks her up. She definitely blossomed in her foster home; her foster parent said that she really wanted to be apart of the family. Fish has a more difficult time with shelter life than many of our cats do; the busy atmosphere and the constant changes are hard for her to cope with and she expresses many big and conflicting emotions. Ultimately she is just a sweet and sensitive young cat who has had a hard and tumultuous life. The sooner that she can get into a home and finally settle in permanently, less she will have to recover and decompress. This pretty and petite little girl is more than worth getting to know!
