ATTENTION PLEASE!! We are the KITTENS!!! Just tell us what you want, I'll bet we have it. Short hair, long hair, medium hair, kittens with stripes, kittens with spots, black, white, brown, purple, patterned..... wait, did we say purple? Maybe we got a little carried away there, but the rest of it is true. Whatever you're looking for, stop by OPEN DOOR and visit with us. We are fun, playful, affectionate, entertaining, and soooo CUTE!!!! There's about 250 cats/kittens here at Open Door so we have something for everyone. Our suggestion, just come on out and take a look at everybody. We know that us kittens are the best in the place, but we hate thinking of all the adults that have been here for a really long time just waiting for a family of their very own. So give us ALL a chance! We'll see you soon.

Story
Hello, I'm PEACHES and I think it's time for me to have a forever home. I thought I had found one when I was adopted from OPEN DOOR when I was just a baby. For some reason my daddy brought me back though. So now I'm older, but wiser. I'm not a high maintenance girl, All I truly need is somewhere soft to sleep, someone to pet and cuddle me, and maybe a couple of toys. I know a lot of people do not want to adopt an older cat, but I've got so much going for me. I'm not crazy and full of kitten energy, I'm really fond of being cuddled, and I'm quiet. You can't get those great qualities from a kitten. So come on in and meet me, PEACHES.

Story
Hello there, I'm KAILANI and I think I'm ready for a home. When I got to OPEN DOOR with my sister, we were both so very shy, we didn't trust people at all. Now that I have been here and have seen how great people can be, I'm ready to start trusting again. I would prefer a quiet home with people who will let me take some time to adjust to the home. I've never had a home before, so it might take me a while to figure out how one works. If you're wondering about my name, it means "sea and sky" in Hawaiian. I don't know much about the sea, but I do enjoy the sky. I love to lay in the window and watch the birds. If you want to be the person who gives a girl her first home, stop in and say "Aloha" to KAILANI.

Story
Hiya, my name is BLUE JAY. I'm a really good boy that has been at OPEN DOOR for a while. I'm a little bit playful, a little bit snuggly, and a little bit chill...I'm pretty much perfect. I originally came here when I was just a baby and then my family moved somewhere I couldn't go. I came back to the shelter and was adopted out again. Something really scary happened to me there, I won't talk about it with anyone, and I hid so good that my new family couldn't find me for a week. They brought me back and I just didn't trust people for the longest time after that. I think I'm ready for a home now, but can it be forever this time? If you want to, come by and ask for BLUE JAY!
