Story
Life may be a game of chance but you will come up a winner every time with these 4 kittens! Meet Lotto, Roulette, Blackjack and Keno. Their first stroke of luck came when a group of kind workers pulled together to help a very pregnant cat dumped at an I-80 rest stop. As they searched high and low for a rescue to take her, these Penn-DOT employees made sure momma cat Rhoda had food, water and a shelter at night. Rhoda gave birth to five very healthy kittens in a CIB foster home shortly after we rescued her in mid June. Sibling Poker was recently adopted and now his siblings say it's "game on" for finding their forever families. All of the kittens are friendly, outgoing and know that you have play to win! (An adage they take quite seriously as they interact with visitors and chase toys with delight.) They also so enjoy the young people who aren't yet of gambling age. The kittens pair up in color combinations. Lotto and his sister "Lady Luck" Roulette are brown tabbies and are both quite the cuddlers. You may have to do a double take to distinguish purring Blackjack ♠️ from Keno (who sports a bigger white bikini). The kittens all love, cavorting with one another but welcome other cats and kittens to play too. Lotto, Roulette, Blackjack and Keno are ready to make it your lucky day. Adopt one, two, three or four… You could just hit the kitten adopter's jackpot!

Story
Regina Quietly, patiently, Regina waits for someone who truly "sees" her. Just like people, not every cat seeks the limelight. Some watch and observe intently. They are not shy, but perceptive. They are the cats who materialize out of nowhere to wipe a tear from your cheek when needed most. Regina is such a cat. When first rescued, the streets of Berwick were Regina's only home. This friendly cat was in the last stages of pregnancy and softly meowed for attention and food. She delivered her kittens Easter weekend and with a mother's nurturing instinct, raised 2 abandoned kittens after losing 2 of her own. When Regina first came to Cats in Bloom, she served as the "den mother" in our kitten room-calmly watching over the crew of youngsters. Regina would likely prefer a quieter home with someone who is looking for a calm and gentle companion. She purrs contentedly with pets and her green eyes light up when someone takes notice. She can even be sweetly flirtatious. Loud and boisterous is just not Regina's style, although she does do well with all the other cats at the cafe. So when you next visit Cats in Bloom, take a good look around. Regina may just recognize you as someone who could be her "person"-the one who truly "sees" the wonderful cat she is.

Story
Meet siblings Mopsy, Flopsy, Benjamin and Cottontail. With a mother named Beatrix, it was only natural for her kittens to take names from Beatrix Potter's famous children's classics. Beatrix, now one of our CIB residents, is an incredibly friendly stray gray tabby cat. She was taken inside a home where she delivered her 4 kittens in mid July. Unfortunately, 2 days later the individual who found her said she was putting them all back outside. She really "didn't want cats". It was Cats in Bloom to the rescue! We really didn't want this adorable family fending for themselves in the proverbial Mr. McGregor's garden🪴 where their lives would constantly be at risk. At first glance it is difficult to distinguish 3 of the 4 siblings as they gather around happily meowing for attention. Tabby kitten Mopsy, however, is the only girl. Just like her namesake, she is responsible and attentive to people. Brother Flopsy, an identical tabby twin, is playful and outgoing. He loves carousing with his siblings. Benjamin has a softer brown tabby coat and is a purring machine who is the first to hippity-hop into your lap. Cottontail stands out with his distinctive white paws and bib. He is a happy go lucky kitten always ready to greet you. It may just be time to revisit some old Beatrix Potter classics with your very own Mopsy, Flopsy, Benjamin, or Cottontail cuddled by your side! (Beatrix’s kittens are spay/neutered, vaccinated and ready for homes of their own. We are happy to arrange meet and greets for all of our kittens in foster)

Story
Hello this is Snowball she is about 5-6 years old & her name originated from a little girl. We took her in due to her having no where to go. She is a very smart & lovable cat. Snowball is a lap kitty, she’ll hold your arm with hers you name it she just loves the attention. She isn’t touchy with petting so you don’t have to be very timid with her. We made both made the decision to find her a new home due to the fact that she gets in daily fights with our cats. Snow tends to follow our cats like pray & attack, she may be best as a single cat. We both believe we have too many cats in our home as we did take her in & fostering one other. My mom has 5 cats (1 she is fostering) & I have 1, including Snow we have 7. It’s just too much for the both of us to handle. We cannot take her back under any circumstances, due to her being in between homes too many times already. This needs to be her last home, very loving & attentive. Her happiness & comfort is important to us. Thank you & God bless!

These pups are in Duryea, Pennsylvania too!

Story
Bartleby was born December 15th 2009 so he is currently 14 years old. He is not declawed but he's good with scratching posts. We got a dog a couple years ago and Bartleby really isn't a fan. He spends most of his days hiding upstairs in closets and under beds. I'd like for him to go to a home that's quiet and relaxed with someone to cuddle him.
