Meet River! River is one of our " Special needs" cats. She is approximately 3 year of age and has been spayed. It was unfortunately determined by our vet that she is blind, this however does not seem to affect how she functions on a day-to-day basis to much. While she will need some special arrangements when being placed in home such as having lots of time to get used to her new surroundings and a relatively large and open space to live with limited obstacles such as stairs for her to acclimate to. She seems to do well otherwise and is the sweetest most affectionate kitty around. She would make an excellent lap cat as she loves to be cuddled and held. River would need to be in a calm and quiet free of small children and other pets.

Noodle is a 5 year old neutered male. Noodle is a very sweet cat he however can be shy at first as it takes him sometime to trust new people. Noodle would do best in a calm quiet environment. He would also need to be the only pet in the home. He can not go home with any other cats as he is FIV positive and while this disease is only transmittable through bites and scratches should he and any other cat get into an altercation or play a little to rough the other cat is likely to get FIV as well. This disease does not have any immediate affects on noodle at this time but can make him more susceptible to illnesses once he becomes older.

She's more of a treat motivated cat. Like most Tortie cats, Petal can be very vocal about her wants and needs and can be a bit sassy at times. Petal shows a bit of "cat-itude," but she is very friendly. Dillinger would be much safer as the only cat in the home or with other cats with FIV. This sweet boy just loves attention, and he will purr very loud to show you that he enjoys it.
