Story
Meet Tinkerbell Tinkerbell is one of those little cats who quietly steals your heart. She’s petite, delicate, and an absolute angel of a girl. Tinkerbell truly loves people — she loves affection, being talked to, and knowing her person is nearby. But she also has a wonderfully independent side. She doesn’t need to be attached to you every second to feel loved. She’s perfectly happy finding a cozy spot, watching the world around her, and then coming back for attention when she’s ready. There’s something especially sweet about a cat like Tinkerbell — one who wants love, but asks for it so gently. She isn’t demanding. She isn’t complicated. She just wants a safe place to belong, people who adore her, and a home where she never has to wonder what comes next. Tinkerbell has already spent enough of her life waiting. Now she deserves to be someone’s little girl. About Noah’s Arc Animal Rescue All of our animals are spayed or neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, current on flea and tick treatments, dewormed, and treated for any ailments encountered during veterinary exams. Dogs are heartworm negative and cats are combo tested. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. An application does not obligate you to adopt. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will be in touch as soon as possible. Noah’s Arc is staffed by volunteers, and the shelter is not open to the public. Meet-and-greets for the animals are by appointment only.

Story
Meet Glimmer! Glimmer is a beautiful little tuxedo girl with a curious personality and plenty of kitten fun to share! Glimmer was born in May 2026 after her mama found a safe place to raise her kittens in the woods surrounding Noah's Arc. Our volunteers brought food each day, giving her mama the time and space she needed to realize that she and her babies were safe. From there, Glimmer and her siblings began their journey toward a brighter future. Glimmer looks almost identical to her sister Gigi, but she has a personality all her own. She's curious, playful, and loves exploring her surroundings. Whether she's chasing a toy, checking out something new, or watching the action around her, Glimmer is always interested in what's happening next. She's still learning that people are safe and continues to build confidence every day. With patience, gentle encouragement, and time to settle in, Glimmer will continue to blossom into a wonderful companion. Glimmer is: Born May 2026 Beautiful tuxedo kitten Curious and playful Loves exploring and playing Growing more confident every day Looking for a patient, loving home Ready for her forever family Glimmer has already come a long way. Now she's ready for someone who will give her the time, patience, and love she needs to become the happy, confident cat she's meant to be. About Noah's Arc Animal Rescue Noah's Arc Animal Rescue is a nonprofit animal rescue located in East Tennessee. Our adoption process is designed to help each pet find the right forever home.

Story
Yes — for Danni’s Adopt-a-Pet bio, I’d add a short **FeLV FAQ** because a lot of people see “FeLV positive” and immediately assume she can’t have a good life. The key is to educate without overwhelming them. Here’s a fuller version: **Meet Danni!** 🐾 Danni is a beautiful young girl with a gentle soul and one of the cutest little quirks at Noah’s Arc. She can be a little shy when you first meet her, but with patience and a calm approach, Danni begins to relax and show just how sweet she really is. She is the kind of cat who may take a little time to trust, but once she feels safe, her quiet, affectionate personality starts to shine. And then there is her famous little tongue. Danni is known around Noah’s Arc as our resident **“Blep Queen”** because she often lets just the tip of her tongue peek out, giving her an expression that is impossible not to love. Danni is **FeLV positive**, but that is only one part of her story. FeLV-positive cats can still enjoy loving, meaningful lives, sometimes for years after diagnosis, especially with regular veterinary care and close monitoring. :chatgpt-content-reference{index="0"} For the right adopter, Danni would be such a special companion. A quieter, patient home would suit her well, and because FeLV can spread between cats through prolonged close contact, grooming, bites, and shared bowls or litter boxes, she should ideally live as the only cat or with another FeLV-positive cat. :chatgpt-content-reference{index="1"} ### A few important FeLV facts **What is FeLV?** FeLV stands for Feline Leukemia Virus. It is a virus that affects cats and can weaken the immune system over time. :chatgpt-content-reference{index="2"} **Can people or dogs catch FeLV?** FeLV is a feline-specific virus. It is not considered a risk to people or dogs. :chatgpt-content-reference{index="3"} **Can Danni live with another cat?** She can live with another FeLV-positive cat. Because FeLV can be transmitted between cats through close contact, an FeLV-negative cat should generally be housed separately unless a veterinarian has helped the adopter assess the specific situation and risks. :chatgpt-content-reference{index="4"} **Does FeLV mean Danni is sick right now?** Not necessarily. Cats with FeLV can look and feel completely normal for extended periods. Regular veterinary care and monitoring are especially important so any changes can be caught early. :chatgpt-content-reference{index="5"} **Can FeLV-positive cats still have a good quality of life?** Absolutely. FeLV is a serious diagnosis, but it does not mean a cat cannot enjoy affection, play, comfort, companionship, and a happy home. Cornell notes that FeLV-positive cats can live normal lives for prolonged periods, although their long-term prognosis varies from cat to cat. :chatgpt-content-reference{index="6"} Danni may need a little extra understanding, but she has just as much love to give as any other cat. She is waiting for someone who will look beyond three letters — **FeLV** — and see the sweet, slightly shy, wonderfully adorable Blep Queen underneath. Could you be Danni’s person? **About Noah’s Arc Animal Rescue** Noah’s Arc Animal Rescue is a nonprofit animal rescue located in East Tennessee. Since 1991, we have been dedicated to rescuing homeless dogs and cats and helping them find safe, loving, lifelong homes. Our pets are spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, current on flea/tick prevention, dewormed, and examined by a veterinarian. Dogs are heartworm tested and cats are FIV/FeLV tested when age appropriate, unless otherwise noted. Meet-and-greets are scheduled by appointment after an adoption application has been submitted. Our adoption process is designed to help each pet find the right forever home. One thing I’d **not** put in the bio is a specific life-expectancy number. There is a published median after diagnosis, but individual FeLV cases vary a lot, and I think a general “can live good lives for years” message is much better for an adoption listing.

Story
It’s easy to see where Ember got her name. This beautiful tortoiseshell girl has a gorgeous mix of black, brown, and orange throughout her coat—but it’s her funny little face, big ears, and growing personality that have really won us over. Ember came to Noah’s Arc at approximately 3 months old, weighing just 1.8 pounds. She was tiny, underweight, scared, and unsure of her new surroundings. Since settling into her foster home, though, she’s learning more every day that people can be kind and that being a kitten can actually be pretty fun. As Ember has gotten more comfortable, we’ve started seeing the little personality that was hiding underneath all that uncertainty. She’s spunky, curious, playful, and has an adorably silly side—especially when she thinks no one is watching. She loves her toys and enjoys spending time with the other cats in her foster home. And then there are those ears and that mischievous little face. It didn’t take long for her foster family to give her a nickname: Lil Monkey. Ember is still building her confidence, so she’ll do best with a patient, loving family willing to give her the time and security she needs to continue coming out of her shell. For the right person, watching this once-scared little kitten learn to trust and blossom is going to be something pretty special. Ember • Approximately 3 months old • Tortoiseshell • Playful, curious & silly • Loves toys • Enjoys her foster kitty friends • Still building confidence • AKA “Lil Monkey” • Ready to find her forever home Ember may have arrived tiny and scared, but there is a whole lot of personality starting to shine through. Now she just needs a family of her own to share it with. About Noah's Arc Animal Rescue Noah's Arc Animal Rescue is a nonprofit animal rescue located in East Tennessee. Story
Meet Goldie! Goldie is a beautiful little tabby with soft green eyes and a gentle personality. Born in May 2026, she came to Noah's Arc with her mama and five siblings after they were found living in the woods surrounding the rescue. Goldie's mama was understandably cautious of people, and Goldie inherited some of that shy nature. She isn't the kitten who will immediately run up to greet a stranger. Instead, she prefers to take her time, observe her surroundings, and decide when she's ready to come closer. Once Goldie feels safe, you'll begin to see the sweet personality underneath her shyness. She enjoys the comfort of cozy spaces and would do best with someone who understands that building trust with a shy kitten takes patience. Her future family will have the rewarding opportunity to watch her confidence grow and help her discover just how wonderful a safe, loving home can be. Goldie doesn't need someone looking for an instant lap cat. She needs someone willing to let her set the pace, give her gentle encouragement, and celebrate the little victories along the way. Goldie is: Born May 2026 Female kitten Domestic Shorthair Beautiful tabby coat with soft green eyes Gentle and quiet Shy with new people Best suited for a patient, calm home Looking for someone willing to give her time to build trust Ready to find her forever family Goldie is still learning that people can be trusted, and she has so much potential waiting to shine. For the right person, watching her transform from a cautious kitten into a confident companion will be incredibly special. Could you be the patient person who helps Goldie come out of her shell?
