Story
Frog is a shy, introverted kitty who came in with his 5 siblings. While they were together, staff would not see Frog all day and would find him hiding away. After we separated him from his siblings, he began to THRIVE. He comes out to play and get attention, although sometimes he will get overstimulated and give love bites. Due to these things we want Frog to go to a home where he will be the only kitty and with kids who are a bit older and know some cat boundaries. If you want to meet Frog, come in to the shelter Tuesday-Thursday 1-5 pm and Saturday-Sunday 12-5 pm and see him in CR2.Frog is vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered. HIs adoption fee is $90.

Story
Oracle came in with his brother Omen and they both had a pretty rough go of it. They had ringworm and coccidia, then once they started to get better, they got sick again! We finally got them all cleared up from being sick and they are up for adoption now. While they are hard to tell apart, Omen is completely black and Oracle has a little white patch on his chest! Oracle is a little rascal, who loves to play anytime he is awake. Omen and Oracle are a bonded pair and have to get adopted together. When the vet had them separated, they screamed their little heads off until they could see each other again! If you are interested in these two boys, make an appointment by calling 509-332-3422 or emailing us at staff@whitmanpets.org. This is until we get back on our feet after the surge of kittens we got in and go back to our normal hours! Omen and Oracle are vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered. Their adoption fee is $255 together!

Story
Meet Raphael! This sweetie arrived at HSoP with a seemingly injured paw. He's had several tests, X-rays, and trips to the vet, but we're still looking for the cause of what seems to be bothering him. He's now in our front lobby and is ready to make friends while we continue looking for the answer! Raphael can accept applications now, but cannot go home quite yet. We estimate Raphael to be around 3 years old. He's a previous TNR kitty, which we can tell by looking at his tipped ear. He's an incredibly outgoing guy who sings his songs loudly for all to hear. He's usually saying "Hey you! Yeah you! Come over here and give me some attention!". Raphael is a sucker for human attention. All he wants are soft forehead kisses, good scratches, and the ability to make himself comfy on your lap (his new favorite spot). We aren't sure how Raphael would do around cats or dogs in his future home, but we do offer a seven-day foster period with each adoption to help ensure a good fit for the whole family. Raphael is truly wonderful cat, just waiting to find his perfect companion. If you've been looking to bring a feline friend into your life, we encourage you to stop by and meet Raphael! Our cat lobby is open 1:00-6:00pm Mon-Sat and dog kennels close at 5:00.
