Story
That Boi had his tom cat privileges swapped out for indoor cat rights about 4 months ago, and has since become a whole new kitty. He has learned that indoor living is really the way to go with the warm beds, daily meals, and lack of bullies. Although coming out of his shell did take a while, his foster mom has finally had the chance to see That Boi's real personality in the last two months. She has found that he enjoys the company of other kitties and even dogs. That Boi has made so much progress that he's finally ready to meet his forever home. He is currently still in foster, so any questions you have can be sent in to us at staff@whitmanpets.org. That Boi will be staying in foster for now, but it is still possible to arrange a time to meet him for adoption. Call or email us if this is the boy for you! That Boi is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $90.

Story
Hibiscus and her siblings were found in a field looking for dinner. They were brought into the shelter so that we could make sure all 6 of the little teas could find forever homes with promised snuggles and regular meal times. She was the first of her litter to warm up to human affection, and has since become a fan favorite. They are a lovely set of vocal kittens that thrive off of their time spent together. Each of these kittens would be an amazing addition to home that already has an established pet. If you are looking for the first addition to your home, we encourage you to consider adopting 2 kittens at the same time. There is a deal on the adoption price, but the real reason is that these kittens are going to need someone to socialize and play with until they are good and tired. Then they will need a best friend to snuggle. We encourage you to come down to the shelter Tuesday-Thursday 1pm-5pm and Saturday-Sunday 12pm-5pm to meet the rambunctious crew.Hibiscus's adoption fee is $170, or $255 to adopt her and another kitten from their litter. She is spayed, up to date on all of her vaccines, and microchipped.

Story
Meet Queenie! This royal lady is roughly 6 years old, spayed, up to date on her vaccines, and all ready to find her castle. Queenie is a dignified and independent cat who has become very comfortable with making her boundaries known. She likes her personal space and does not appreciate being pet without her say so. When she's in the mood, Queenie can be quite affectionate on her own terms! She enjoys rubbing up against our staff's legs when she's out of her kennel and loves to run around. Her personality is completely different inside her kennel than outside of it, where she has the option to stay or go. When she isn't in the mood for attention, she isn't shy about letting you know. If you can respect her body language and personal space, it's pretty easy to become friends with miss Queenie! Queenie used to have a habit of not getting along with other cats, but we haven't seen this behavior since she's been at the shelter for some time. She would thrive as an only pet, but that isn't her only option. Queenie may do fine with another submissive pet in the home, one that can respect her personal space and warning signs. However, she likely would not be a good match for another dominant animal, as they may challenge her. We offer a seven-day foster period with each adoption to ensure a good fit for all members of the family. If you're interested in getting to know Queenie, stop by HSoP between 2:00-6:00pm Monday through Saturday. Please note that our dog kennels close at 5:00pm each day. HSoP is located at 2019 E White Ave Moscow, ID 83843.
