Story
Microwave and Toaster are a **BONDED PAIR**, meaning that they must go home together. This pair of kittens are extremely loving and will gladly take all of the attention you provide them. But this doesn`t mean you have to be with them all of the time, they are also happy enjoying each other`s time and may wander off anyways. Disclosure: This kitten was in shelter during a feline calicivirus outbreak. They are better now, but they can still shed the virus and it is difficult to determine how long that will be for. As long as the FVRCP vaccination is up-kept, living with other vaccinated cats should not be a problem. If you want to meet Microwave and Toaster, please come by the shelter during our open hours: Saturday-Wednesday 1-5pm. There adoption fee is $255, but until January 1st with our `Home for the Holidays` event they are $240. Microwave and Toaster are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations.
We'll also keep you updated on Toaster's adoption status with email updates.

Story
When our cars litter came into the shelter they were quite terrified of life. But slowly, they began to open up to us. Flo is the friendly girl in the group. Similarly to Mater, she likes to greet you pretty early on after the door opens. She has become quite the lovebug, but sometimes backs away before you get a chance to give her attention. Like most of the litter, she will likely still need a little time to show her true personality but we believe she would make such a good friend to whoever gives her a chance.Disclosure: the cars litter were in shelter during the calicivirus outbreak. They are better now, however, they can still shed the virus a few weeks to a few months after contracting it. And 20% of cats can shed it for the rest of their lives. As long as the FVRCP vaccination is up-kept, living with other vaccinated cats will not be a problem. Don`t let this fact dissuade you from potentially taking home your forever friend. If you would like to meet Flo, come in during our open hours Sat-Wed 1-5. She is spayed and up to date on her vaccinations.

When our cars litter came into the shelter they were quite terrified of life. But slowly, they began to open up to us. Sally Carrera, admittedly, has made the most progress. She was the sassiest little one you could imagine, but is now opening up and becoming so sweet! Sally is the runt of her litter and doesn`t let it bring her down. She may need a little more time to show her true personality, but she has made tremendous progress so far!Disclosure: the cars litter were in shelter during the calicivirus outbreak. They are better now, however, they can still shed the virus a few weeks to a few months after contracting it. And 20% of cats can shed it for the rest of their lives. Story
**FOSTER CAT, APPOINTMENT ONLY**Let`s talk all things Clutch:Clutch arrived to the shelter as a kitten with a large head wound. He had been out in the world, fending for himself, and at some point had become injured. Clutch was so lucky as to find a young person willing to help him, although Clutch did give him quite the spook!Clutch went through a whole lot of special care. The staff at the WCHS worked hard to make sure Clutch was healing well, and he is finally ready to go to his forever home. Clutch will likely always be a special little cat. He has a tendency to scratch at the scar that has closed up the wound on his head. Clutch will scratch and scratch and cause a new wound to open up again. We have noticed this tendency is getting better, but Clutch needs to wear his cone whenever he is having an itchy flare up. We would love to get some hats made for Clutch so that he does not injure himself while also not having to be so fully restricted. Clutch is on a gentle diet that makes allergen flare ups less likely. This food has really helped his skin, coat, and also his weight gain. Clutch is very small overall! For any questions regarding Clutch, please email staff@whitmanpets.org. We would love to set up an appointment for you to meet him. Clutch is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. Clutch`s adoption fee is $200, which helps us to replenish our Hope Fund for more cats and kittens like him that arrive to the shelter in need of more advanced medical care. This month, we have a $50 discount on all adoptions for our Home for the Holidays event.
