Issa it not crazy that I`m cooped up here at the shelter? My name is Issa, and I came to ECCHA as a surrender. I`m an independent lady who has both a cuddly side and a sassy side, and I am ready to stake my claim as the rightful queen of your abode. I am a girl who wants attention on my terms, as I must approach you first. I will take time to warm up to new people, and I kindly insist you do NOT pick me up! Once I do accept you as one of my people, I will humbly request cuddles by coming up and laying on your lap, or roll around (elegantly) to entice you to play with me. I will also follow my people around and sleep with them. I love to play with my special toy or laser pointers, and I simply adore exploring cat tunnels and napping on towers. I don`t know how to feel about cats, but I did live with a large dog in my last home and coexisted well. If you do have other pets, make sure to introduce me slowly. I took a little while to come out of my shell, but I have really blossomed into a super sweet and loving fellow. I like being pet along my neck and back gently, and I REALLY like getting cheek scratches. I also like meowing in little peeps! I can be a bit sensitive about where I`m touched, so please respect my boundaries and don`t touch my sides or tummy. We aren`t sure how I do with dogs, but I did great at Mr. Kitty`s Cat Café! Dorito is a Barn Cat! We are looking for cat lovers who have a barn or other secure outdoor structure and are interested in adopting cats that are not suitable for life inside of a house or are unhappy living inside. Cat temperaments range from feral to friendly. This program is designed to find homes for cats that have traditionally been deemed un-adoptable through normal shelter adoption procedures. These cats are healthy, sterilized, vaccinated, microchipped, and in need of a warm and secure home, such as a barn, stable, garage, or warehouse. These are working cats; former street cats that are used to outdoor life and prefer minimal to no human contact. They will happily tend to any mouse, mole, chipmunk, or vermin problems for the low cost of a bowl of cat food and water set out daily, as needed veterinary care, and shelter in a garage or barn. Because we spay/neuter these cats before they leave ECCHA, adopters don`t have to worry about endless litters of kittens! Adopt, Foster, Educate, Advocate!

Hi there, I`m Gobble. Yes, like gobble up your heart, because that is kind of my specialty. I came to ECCHA as a stray and life had not been very kind to me at first. I had a degloved mouth, which sounds scarier than it is now. Thanks to lots of care and love, it has healed and improved so much, and I am feeling great. These days my smile is back and I am ready to show it off. I am currently living the foster life and I am doing pawsitively amazing. I adore the resident cat and I get along great with the dogs too. I guess you could say I am fluent in both meow and woof. I am outgoing, playful, and always up for a good romp, followed immediately by cuddles. Snuggling is one of my favorite hobbies and I never say no to attention. If you are sitting down, consider yourself claimed. I am a social butterfly with whiskers and I love being part of whatever you are doing. Whether it is playtime or nap time, I am happy as long as we are together. I promise to be your loyal little sidekick and your professional biscuit maker. My adoption fee includes a 100. neuter deposit since I am not neutered yet.
