As a senior dachshund, Bailey wants to officially retire from "walking" and move into his preferred mode of transportation: being carried everywhere like the tiny, long-bodied king he is. While his legs work perfectly fine, he would just much rather be in your arms as often as possible. He’s a world-class snuggler with a PhD in finding the softest spot on your lap, and he’s never met a snack he didn’t think was a personal gift from the universe. While Bailey is perfectly polite when passing other pets (including cats) in the street and even at play, he firmly believes that sharing is for losers. He views his food and his favorite humans as high-value assets that require 24/7 guarding from "competitors." Because he’s a bit of a jealous boyfriend when it comes to your attention, he is looking for a home where he can be the only pet and the undisputed center of the universe. If you’re looking for a spicy, one-eyed shadow who will demand your snacks and your soul (in exchange for infinite cuddles), Bailey is your man.
