Story
Meet Nellie!Nellie came in as a stray, so her history is unknown. In a new place, with new people she can be quite shy. At our shelter however, she has blossomed into a wonderful canine companion. Not knowing her history we're not sure what socializing she received as a pup or what experiences she may have gone through. What we do know is she is shy in new places and with new people. We're working on helping her learn to trust and build her confidence. Nellie like a lot of dogs as they get older, is dog selective. She needs slow introductions and if she prefers not to play or interact with them that's ok. It's like humans as we get older we are more selective with whom we are friends.🙂 Ideally, she would thrive in a setting with a secure backyard and an active house-hold. In addition, she will benefit from a household that can provide continued socialization. A stable and loving environment will foster her growth and happiness. Nellie would do great in a home with breed experience, patience, and time to help her build her confidence and a home where there isn't a lot of unfamiliar people or dogs.Think Nellie could be the dog for you? Story
Meet Purple :) Purple is a lovely pup who has cool looking brindle color hair and a beautiful smile! * Energy Level (1~10): Level 2 *Can be shy to a person she meets first time but once she warms up, Purple slowly opens up. *Purple can unexpectedly come next to a person and quietly sits or lies down, so we are training her to get used to human touch with desensitization. *Not particularly interested in other doggy friends. Purple prefers lying down in a corner who likes to rest by sniffing surrounding. *Purple is a pup who likes to stay by herself. She is an introverted pup who likes to spend time alone and lies down close to other dogs. *Doesn’t refuse to be leashed but can get scared of the leash. Can get overwhelmed when her leash gets pulled or hears loud noise when she goes to walk outside. Her walking improves every time she practices her walking!😆
