Story
Duke followed me and my dog home one day. For two weeks, this thin, tired, scared young guy stayed in my neighborhood, keeping a safe distance while I fed him in my front yard. He wanted to trust, but survival made him very cautious. Then one morning, he finally walked up to me… slowly, gently, like he had decided to trust again. That moment changed everything. He became the most affectionate sweet companion you could ask for. -Sweet, cuddly and goofy -Very intelligent -Loves people and bonds deeply -Rubs his face with both paws when he’s happy -Gentle with my senior female dog -Thrives indoors but loves having outdoor space to explore What he needs: -Someone home often (he has separation anxiety from his time on the streets) -A yard or property — he’d make an amazing ranch or outdoor companion -A patient adopter willing to give him time, structure, and reassurance -Someone who wants a deeply loyal dog who will stay by their side
