Story
I have had Akela since he was 10 weeks old, he just celebrated his 6th birthday 01/06/26. Rehoming him is not a decision I have taken lightly but I feel it's what is best for both of us at this point. He loves to play fetch and anything to do with toys is his favorite thing in the world. He is great with people but absolutely cannot be around other dogs at all. He would do great in a home with a fenced backyard and no other pets. He hasn't been around children much and while I believe he would be fine, he doesn't enjoy being hugged on or poked/prodded so a house without children would probably suit him best. He is a very sweet dog and just loves playing and being outside but because he cannot be around other dogs and I do not have a yard for him, with his high energy level it is hard for me to give him the life he deserves. I am willing to drive him however far I need to, as long as I know he is going to a good home where he will be loved and well taken care of.
