Story
Meet Boots — a 6-year-old Pitbull/German Shepherd mix with a big personality and an even bigger love for playtime! This goofy guy is active, playful, cuddly, and always ready for his next game of fetch. If there’s a ball involved, Boots is all in! While he’s friendly and loving, he can be a little aloof at times and likes to do things on “Boots time.” He would do best in a home with older children who can match his energetic personality and respect his space when needed. Boots CANNOT go home with any dogs. This handsome boy is housetrained and already knows commands like sit, down, no, and okay. Boots is smart, eager to play, and always excited for attention. One thing to know about him — chew toys and pillows beware! Boots takes his “destroying toys” hobby very seriously and may need plenty of durable enrichment toys to keep him busy. If you’re looking for a fun-loving adventure buddy who can also be a cuddle bug at the end of the day, Boots may be your perfect match!

Story
Leggs is a resilient 32 pound, 1 year old pup working hard to become part of the world around him. While he’s naturally timid because he was feral the first three months of his life, he’s been bravely approaching new challenges and turned into the most amazing dog at home. Leggs is very intelligent and sensitive. He’s a bit cuddler and loves wrapping himself up in a blanket and hunkering down with his soft toys. He’s fantastic on a leash and incredibly gentle with myself, my children, and other dogs (including my super senior). He is crate trained, goes to the door when he needs to go potty, leash trained, and doing well on basic obedience and threshold training. He’s done well on trips to the park, long-leash walking on nature trails, and trips to pet-friendly stores such as Petco. His perfect home would be one that understands his initial need to decompress. After that, you can expect the most loyal and intuitive companion. He is not a fan of cats so no kitties please. Leggs is being fostered in Texas but can be transported out of state. Story
Colt has been waiting for a home since November 25, 2025. That's over 9 months of watching people walk past his kennel, constantly overlooking him. At just 2.5yrs old, Colt has SO much life to life and so much love to give! His beautiful brindle markings, are striking enough to get your attention, but it's the spark in his eyes that really steals your heart and make you feel a connection with him. He is playful, silly, incredibly sweet, and absolutely obsessed with toys! Give Colt a toy and he will happily play the day away, having the time of his life! Colt isn't constantly in motion. When playtime is over he is affectionate, loving, and snuggly. Colt also does wonderfully playing with other dogs!Colt isn't asking for much. He just really wants someone to finally see him, and see what we've been seeing for months: an amazing dog. Could you be the person who finally makes Colt's wait worth it? Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: Tan Weight: 53.125 Age: 2yrs 9mths 3wks I am available for adoption at the Pocatello Animal Shelter.
