Story
My name is Xena.I am a great dog. I’m house trained. I love to cuddle in bed play rough and jump around. Im a very energetic dog. I’m almost 2 years old. I am super loving and need attention and some running space. I am okay with my cats but they also don’t like to play like I do. I’ve only known one dog my whole life so other dogs I’m unsure about. I love treats and eat like a pig. I am roughly 80-90lbs. I love baths and love water. I am very playful and energetic. I’m very vocal but not too loud. I love the snow but hate the cold.

Story
Meet Bruno! This handsome 5-year-old Shepherd is a big, goofy sweetheart weighing in at 80 lbs, with a heart to match his size. One of his most charming features is the striking streak of blue through his left eye, giving him a truly unique and unforgettable look.Bruno loves being outside—especially for a happy trot in the snow—and does well on leash, making him a wonderful companion for walks and outdoor adventures. He knows many tricks and quickly picks up on routines. He recognizes when a coat goes on as his cue that it’s time to head outside and clearly understands words like “car” and “car ride.” Speaking of car rides, Bruno is an absolute pro: he climbs right in, doesn’t whine, calmly sits, and happily sticks his head out the window.Bruno is ready to find a loving forever home that will appreciate his goofy charm and big heart. He is cat & dog friendly, pending a meet & greet with another dog.Current weight: 80 lb.Adoption Fee $250To Apply: www.fcrspca.org/adopt

Story
Meet Java Java is an almost 4-year-old German Shepherd with a big personality, a playful spirit, and a heart ready for her forever home. She’s an active, intelligent girl who thrives on engagement and adventure — especially long walks, bonus points if you let her proudly carrying a toy the entire way. And true to her Frozen-inspired attitude, the cold never bothered her anyway! Java will do best with an adopter who has shepherd experience and understands the importance of both mental and physical enrichment. She can live with other dogs of similar size and energy, particularly those who enjoy rough-and-tumble play. When meeting new people, Java does have a big, loud bark — think built-in alarm system — but she’s never met a stranger she didn’t like, especially if they’re willing to bundle up and explore the outdoors with her. Java came to us experiencing urinary incontinence, and we’ve been working closely with our veterinary team to support her every step of the way. After weeks of visits, calls, and referrals, we have a solid plan in place. Java is scheduled for a cystoscopy consultation in May to help determine the cause of her incontinence and guide her long-term treatment or management plan. While we continue working toward answers, we’re hoping to find an adopter who can open their home and heart to Java during this chapter of her healing journey. The good news? Java isn’t leaking 24/7, and her incontinence is not her fault. She’s looking for a patient, understanding home that will keep her mind busy with training, enrichment, and regular exercise while her medical team works toward a solution. We are committed to covering Java’s veterinary care as we move forward, and we’re grateful for the support of our community in making that possible. Keep an eye out for Java’s upcoming fundraiser, which will help us continue providing the care she needs. If you’re searching for a loyal companion who’s equal parts playful, smart, and resilient — and you’re open to walking alongside her while she gets the answers she deserves — Java just might be your perfect match.Adoption fee: $250To apply: https://fcrspca.org/adopt/
