Story
What we know so far is that Griff has 2 speeds.... playing or vegging... vegging seems to be top priority though.  Griff is a 1 year old pure Dutch Shepard I believe  No cats, small dogs, rabbits, etc...  Griff does well while left alone even 8+ hours at times. Not destructive in any way. Sleeps through the night without a peep.  Children 12 and above. Griff is a strong boy who gets excited and may be too much for little kids.  Breed experience would be great but not a must.  He's working on his leash walking and other manners with Christina Evans from Cohesive Canine Training. Thank you Christina!  Another similar size female dog may work. Meet and greets are a must.  Griff is a 60 lb puppy, bottom line.  As is to be expected with the breed he will take some time to warm up but once he does you will not find a more loyal companion who wants nothing more than to be by your side. ##2030727##

Story
To adopt please fill out an adoption Application  Friendly, happy, well-socialized! Murphy is a 6mo male Dutch Shepherd mix who was rescued as a stray in Memphis.  Good with other dogs and living comfortably with another dog in his foster home (see video).  Not yet cat tested. Great with kids and recommended for children 6 years and older just because of his exuberance.  Medium energy level outside, quiet and well-mannered in the house.  Crate trained and housebroken. Learning basic commands.  Loves to be with his people.  Good on a leash, rides great in the car.  Healthy and fully vetted, current on shots, neutered, weighs about 40 pounds.  Murphy has an occasional limp L rear leg which vet attributes to an old, healed injury but it doesn’t impact his mobility at all. This is an AWESOME young shepherd mix will make a wonderful companion  for an active family who loves the breed. Story
ALL our cats and dogs are in the NY area but can be adopted out of state to the purrfect furever home.  In some cases, we can help transport.  Zani's al fresco Summer Adoptions  follow us on FB to find us this summer as we will try new locations to meet the needs of NYC and support the little stores:)       Flynn is an amazing 5 month old brindle mix straight from Arkansas. He is super sweet and very smart. He has quickly picked up using a dog door and is working hard to sit and stay on command. Flynn is almost crate trained  He is being trained not to jump when greeted as we think he will be quite a big boy. He loves to cuddle with all humans including children and is very treat motivated. He is good with other dogs. He has not met any cats yet. Flynn has some energy but in comparison to other puppies he is very content relaxed.      All dogs are located in NY/NJ areaAll our puppies need puppy play dates/doggy facetime so we recommend homes with other pups or daily interactions to keep them tired out, happy and social.     Facebook: Zani's Furry Friends ZFF (weekly adoption event info posted there) Twitter: zanisff  Instagram: zanisfurryfriends   Dogs are spayed/neutered, UTD on age appropriate vaccines, Rabies vaxed, and microchipped (not Lyme vaxed but we seriously recommend it!)  All are in the NY/NJ area but we will adopt out of state to the purrfect home and in some cases, we can arrange transport.  Please go to our site  https://zanisfurryfriends.org  fill out an application  Many of us (cats/dogs) will be on display on Saturdays or Sundays, weather dependent--please ask by writing us at dogs@zanisfurryfriends.org and following us on FB. If you are seriously interested in adopting one of us in particular, please fill out an application early Friday so that we can be sure to be there. Otherwise we decide based on other variables. Usually we are in our foster homes so this is a bit more stressful and a slightly artificial environment but we do want to be seen and find our furever homes too.   Please consider providing a home for more than one dog, especially if you are considering adopting a puppy. Dogs are pack animals and very much enjoy as well as need other dog company to learn to play, socialize and be good companion animals to people. The upside to this is that you won't feel as guilty leaving them alone and you get twice the love. Please come! And if you can't adopt, maybe you can foster or volunteer, and you can always donate! If you want to know about cats/dogs specifically being shown at our adoption locations, please email us info@zanisfurryfriends.org closer to the date so we know your interest and will make every effort to have that pet at the event or let you know how and where you can meet.  It is extemely helpful and speeds up adoption if the application is filled out prior to visiting us so please do that before coming to our weekend events. Our weekend locations are: Saturdays or Sundays, weather dependent  Follow us on FB, Zani's Furry Friends ZFF, for latest updates. Usually we are in our foster homes so all this is a bit more stressful but we do want to be seen and find our furever homes. Please come! And if you can't adopt, maybe you can foster or volunteer. And you can always donate:) Cats and Dogs are spayed/neutered, UTD w/ all age appropriate shots and microchipped. Cats are feline combo tested for FIV/FeLV; dogs are heartworm tested and rabies vax'd, (NOT lyme vaxed but we seriously recommend it); rabbits are spayed/neutered. Story
Attention all working dog lovers!! Loki is an almost 3 year old, pure-bred Dutch Shepherd (a type of Belgian Malinois). He comes from a long line of working dogs bred for police K-9 work and has many of the traits associated with those dogs. He also has a fair bit of anxiety that makes him unsuitable to work as a K-9 but he is most definitely not a pet. He needs a home with a handler who is familiar with working dogs and the type of life they need; working every day, training in scent work and tracking, being handled by someone with a firm control of every aspect of his life. He does not do well having free reign to make his own decisions, he needs a strong leader making those decisions for him. It must also be noted that Loki DOES have a bite history, having bitten his owner in the past when his anxiety hit an unbearable level for him. He is not aggressive, but if not controlled, he can lash out when he becomes anxious. His owners have trained him extensively and he has the potential
