Story
She is anxious, nervous, and barky at first. When she warms up, she is just the sweetest, most loving, attentive, nurturing, lap-baby you ever met! She has been with us for 10 years of our journey across the land as an Army family and now we are settling here in Ohio. My in-laws were allergic, so we had to get a place pretty fast for the dogs and wound up in a two bedroom apartment that is tiny and split our family (husband now has to stay at his parents because only 5 people can be here, so it's tiiiny.) She has been miserable and lethargic, she is literally the best dog in the entire world and she deserves the moon, the idea of letting go kills me, but I will for the right person ONLY. I think she'd do better with a woman. She is gentle and sweet to our mini-dachshund, loving to my 4 kids that she has helped raise, and she is a dog that likes to go, even running errands all day in the car she is down for the ride! I want to build a rapport and know our girl will be loved!

Story
We were brought Sadie about 7 days ago. We do not know a lot about dogs and did not realize the amount of exercise and training and what a time commitment she would be. Neither did we realize she would keep growing. Sadie is a female. We are told She is around 8 months old. She is potty trained and is good with our 10 and 14 year old kids. However, she is strong and pulls when she sees a squirrel, bunny, cat, etc and the kids can’t handle her in these situations. She eats well, poops and pees just fine and rests well too. We do not have a fence nor the time to exercise her as needed and to train her as needed. She needs a good home with a more qualified family. Because the kids are needed to take her out when they get home from school and this is sometimes hard for them to handle her - we would like to surrender her as soon as possible.
