  Don't let his "older adult" status fool you—Dax still has plenty of pep in his step! This handsome guy is energetic, playful, and absolutely loves life. Whether he's enjoying playtime, exploring the yard, or spending time with his people, Dax approaches every day with enthusiasm and joy. Dax recently returned to our rescue through no fault of his own. His family experienced significant life changes and made the difficult decision to ask for our help finding him a home where he can truly be part of the family. They loved him enough to make sure he would have the opportunity to find the right fit. Some of our longtime supporters may remember Dax by his original rescue name, Bear. He was part of the second class of our STAR Inmate Training Program when it first began, and he excelled from day one. That intelligence and eagerness to please are still very much a part of who he is. Dax is a smart dog who enjoys learning and loves making his people proud. Dax has successfully lived with other dogs and children and has experience being a beloved family companion. He knows what it's like to be part of a home and is ready to find that connection again. Got Hoss here, thinking I would be able to use him for duck hunting. Turns out he is more of a k-9 dog, more than anything. It will definitely take someone that is looking for more of a guard dog. He is super friendly once he gets to know you. He needs to be comfortable with you before just letting him go. Loves to swim in the water and loves to play fight with his brother. ( I will be listing his brother separately as well, would like to send them off together ).

Have Rhett here. He is close to being 1 years old. Got him originally trying to make him a duck dog. He didn’t turn out the way I expected him to. I have his brother listed as well, looking to sell them as a pair, or even send them to a good home for free. He is definitely a loving dog. Loves to go swim in the water and loves drinking out of the water hose!
