This regal gal is Miss Xena! Xena is an approximately 4-year old female Shepherd / Great Dane mix and weighs around 70 lbs. Xena is truly a warrior princess! She carries herself very gracefully and is truly beautiful. Her pictures do not do her justice! She is a tall and lanky gal! Xena has an awesome personality, can be moderate energy or just chill! She loves playing with other dogs and is currently in a boarding daycare where she plays and socializes with many dogs of all sizes. Xena has done well with the children she has met at outreaches but she has not lived with them before. She is friendly and outgoing. She would love a home where she is included in activities and can interact with her person (people) on a daily basis. She does need a secure stockade-fenced yard as she has legs like a giraffe and could easily clear a chain-link or low fence. When bored, she has jumped a 6-ft chain-link fence just to go the front door of the daycare! Xena appears house-trained. She is crate-trained and walks on a leash like a princess diva! She is spayed, current on vaccines, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $250. Since Xena is in boarding, she qualifies as a foster-to-adopt or just as a foster. Piper is a beautiful 2 year old German Shepherd who recently joined us through Save Oklahoma Pets Society. She came to us as an owner surrender after her previous family could no longer care for her. It’s clear she loved her people very much. Those first few days were hard for her as she tried to understand why she was somewhere new. She kept going to the front door hoping to go home, and it broke our hearts watching her confusion. 💔 With time, patience, and lots of love, Piper has started to settle in and show her gentle, affectionate personality. She’s a little shy and submissive at first but incredibly sweet once she warms up. She loves giving kisses, has been quick to trust, and adjusted right away to her crate which has already become her safe space. 🥰 We’ve also learned she’s a very smart girl who knows sit, down, and stay. She enjoys training time and loves to please. She will make a wonderful companion for someone who appreciates the loyal and intelligent nature that german shepherds are known for. ❤️ Welcome to rescue life, sweet Piper.
