Story
Hi, my name is Rex! I'm a 2-year-old male german shepherd/saint bernard mix! I am current on my vaccines, heartworm tested, spayed, and microchipped. 3 words that describe me: Energetic, Curious, Friendly Things staff and volunteers have to say about me: I'm a big boy with lots of energy! I love running around outside with my sister Chewy and my human friends. I'm also very curious and will sniff every inch of the yard. When I've gotten my energy out, I enjoy recieving affection. Activity level/Energy Level: (1-10): 8/10 Housetraining Status: I am housetrained, although it may take some time for me to adjust to a new schedule. I should do well in a home: I should do well with children of all ages given proper supervision. I should do well with other dogs given proper introductions and time to adjust. In my previous home I was curious about the cats. My favorite activities are: I love running around outside and being with my sister Chewy! Things I need work on are: Basic commands and leash walking Any special needs: N/A Doggy day out notes: "Rex was such a good boy on this doggy day out. Such a sweet dog and so happy, cuddly and clumsy" "Rex was a wonderful for companion for the afternoon. Lots of interaction with people who all loved him. He met so many new friends this afternoon!" Story
Hi! I'm Chewy. I'm a female German Shepherd/St. Bernard mix. I am current on my vaccines, heartworm tested, spayed, and microchipped. 3 words that describe me: Curious, affectionate, and friendly. Things staff and volunteers have to say about me: My friends here say that I'm a very affectionate and energetic girl. I love getting lots of affection from my friends, and seem like I would adore having a good hiking/jogging partner to satisfy my curiosity with the world! Due to my breed, I shed quite a bit and get very excited for a good brushing. Activity level/Energy Level: (1-10): 8/10 Housetraining Status: I'm still working on my housetraining, but I'm super smart! With a consistent routine and some patience, I should have it down in no time. I should do well in a home: With kids and dogs of all ages given proper introductions. My previous owners say that I was curious about the cats in the home. My favorite activities are: Getting LOTS of love! Things I need work on are: Leash manners, basic commands, and housetraining. Doggy day out notes: "Chewy did excellent and was very fun to take out. We got her a pup cup and took her to some stores. She was very curious and friendly to many people." "We took chewy to get a pup cup and took her for a few separate walks since It was cold out. She went into 2 pets stores and saw mostly people but was great with everyone she saw. She did see one dog and was curious but didnt seem to care too much. She is such a sweet and gentle dog. Did really well on leash didnt pull at all she just kept looking back at me to make sure I was still there. She did really good in the car mostly just laid down and looked out the window, relaxed and took a nap for a little while too. She seems like she would be a great addition to anyone's family." My adoption fee is: $300 Training Requirement if applicable: N/A *If you are interested in adopting, please start by filling out an application available on our website and email it to us. https://www.couleehumane.com/adopt-an-animal
