Story
Ellie is a stunning 3 month old mixed breed female puppy. She weighs about 6 pounds. We would expect her to be medium size when fully grown. She has a beautiful brindle coat! Ellie is a fun pup who loves people, other dogs, and loves to play. She loves toys and likes to bring all the toys she can find into her bed with her! Ellie has been working hard on potty training, but being that she is just a young puppy, her new family should be prepared to do additional potty training while she learns the routine at her new home in WI. She is up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped, and she comes with her medical records and interstate health certificate from a veterinary examination prior to leaving Texas, which certifies her to be in good condition. She will be arriving in Muskego, WI on Friday May 3rd, and will be available to meet, and take home if she is a good fit, by the first family to have placed an exclusive hold deposit as set out below. Her adoption fee is $500, which will be used to support the many animals in our care whose medical bills far surpass their much lower adoption fee. She is available for an exclusive hold with a deposit of $250, which we give on a first come, first served, basis. The balance of the adoption fee is due upon meeting/finalizing the adoption. Should you find that she is not a good fit for your family upon meeting, the deposit is refundable. If you’re not already familiar with our group, please feel free to visit our Group Page at https://www.facebook.com/groups/TxRescueRidersCommunity If you are serious about this pup, please contact us at DogTrailRides@gmail.com. We take payments through Zelle, Venmo, or CashApp, or we can take card numbers over the phone and process them through Square. All of these methods provide a receipt. Story
Lucy is a beautiful 1.5 year old mixed breed female. She has a beautiful smile, soft brindle coat and a happy tail that is always wagging! She weighs about 30 pounds and is fully grown. Lucy has had a tough start to life, as she was surrendered to the shelter by her owner due to no fault of her own. She doesn't let that get her down! She loves people, walks well on a leash, loves attention and toys. Despite her amazing personality, Lucy found herself at the top of the euthanization list at the shelter as she had been there for months without getting adopted and the shelter was again full. We knew that Lucy deserved a chance to see how good life can be, and are thrilled to be welcoming her to WI on May 3rd! Lucy does well with people of all ages, and gets along with other dogs her size or larger. She should not be with small dogs. Lucy has been working hard on potty training, but being that she is in a shelter setting until her arrival, her new family should be prepared for a few accidents while she learns the routine at his new home in WI. She is spayed, heartworm negative, up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped, and she comes with his medical records and interstate health certificate from a veterinary examination prior to leaving Texas, which certifies her to be in good condition. She will be arriving in Muskego, WI on Friday May 3rd, and will be available to meet, and take home if she is a good fit, by the first family to have placed an exclusive hold deposit as set out below. Good with kids, Good with dogs, Not good with cats, House-trained,
Story
Knox came to us as a stray, and unlike many other dogs, did not get reclaimed. He’s a handsome Dutch Shepherd X and has just the sweetest personality. He seems to not pay much attention to most other dogs, he does not like cats, but given his breed, he has the proper demeanor to be around kids. He would make a great addition to any family, and be loyal and obedient. (Some extra training may be needed) He knows basic commands and walks pretty well on a leash. H favorite things are neck rubs, shoulder massages, and just your embrace. He is so gentle with taking treats, and would make a great lap dog to cuddle with!  If you would like to meet me, please visit our website and complete the pre-adoption application.  Once it has been processed then we can make a date to get together! All dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm tested (if over 2 years old), vaccinated, dewormed, flea and tick treated, microchipped and more before adoption. Our adoption policies include: Application, Vet Reference, Landlord approval & Criminal Background Check. We do not do same day adoptions. We request that you call for an appointment after your application has been approved to come and visit the dog of your choice. If you have a dog currently, you should bring him/her along to meet the new dog so we can see how everyone interacts.  Please visit our website for additional information.
