A 2-year-old, 36-pound mix of Feist and Terrier, Lulu came to us from a hoarding situation. She's a lovely dog with a sweet personality who, upon first meeting can be shy, but will warm up quickly. She loves being stroked and loved; in fact, she's very affectionate. We think she's grateful that we brought her into rescue with us. She's been treated for heartworm and is ready to go home with you! How about it? Show her what a real home is like! (posted 12/29/25, ME) NO CATS, PLEASE. Adoption Fee: $395.00-- covers microchip, worming, all vaccines, monthly heart worm preventative, monthly tick/flea preventative, spaying/neutering, health certificate, and complete medical records. Transport Fee: $160.00-- We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip. We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs. **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. **January 17, 2026, 5:30 pm

While he still needs help learning about new things in the big world, he walks nicely on the leash so can go exploring and learning with his family. She arrived in our care with a vaginal prolapse, and thanks to our medical team, she has been spayed and treated. As her hormones continue to settle, the prolapse will heal naturally.Future adopters should be aware that Hillary will need a little extra patience during this healing period. She should be kept away from male dogs, intact or altered, for about three weeks while her backend fully heals. After that, it is business as usual.Outside of her recent medical needs, Hillary is a happy, healthy, normal dog who truly enjoys being with her people. She shows signs of being potty trained, loves spending time outdoors, and takes her sniffing duties very seriously. If there is dirt to investigate, Hillary will find it.She is a great low rider size, making her an excellent option for apartment living or for someone looking for an easygoing companion. She would be just as happy joining you on leisurely walks as she would exploring her own yard at her own pace.Hillary is looking for a home that can give her a little grace while she finishes healing and a lot of love for the rest of her life. If you are ready to be that family, come meet her and let her charm you Hillary is guesstimated to be 2 years old and weighs 36 lbs. All dogs adopted from Huntsville Animal Services are spayed/ neutered, microchipped, dewormed, appropriately vaccinated, and receive a topical 90-day flea/ tick preventative.Ready to meet Hillary?
