Meet Scrappy 🐾 Scrappy is a sensitive, loyal boy who takes a little time to warm up—especially around men—but once he does, he’ll be your best friend for life. Beneath his cautious first impression is a devoted companion who forms deep bonds with his people. Scrappy does well with other animals after a few appropriate sniffs and friendly tail wags and enjoys calm, respectful introductions. He’s currently a bit on the plump side and is happily on the road to shedding a few pounds before the warmer weather arrives. With patience, gentle reassurance, and love, Scrappy will reward his forever family with unwavering loyalty and affection. - Around 5 years old - Currently 33lbs and going down *Goal is 23#* - Good with dogs and cats - Adoption fee: $200 To inquire about this dog, please email dogs@adoptapetfenton.com. Include information about your family and pets, what you are looking for in a canine companion, how you plan to exercise and train this dog, and why this specific dog seems like a good fit for your family. Those who provide the previous information will be considered first for this canine. Please do NOT call our center. This will help us match you and the animal the best we can. We usually respond via email within 24-48 hours; please check your spam folder if you don't hear from us. Dog adoption fees include spay/neuter, rabies vaccine (if age-appropriate), distemper/parvo combination vaccine, leptospirosis vaccine (if age-appropriate), bordetella vaccine, deworming, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm preventative, flea preventative, a dental cleaning (if necessary), and a microchip. Future vaccines, tests, and treatments will be the responsibility of the adopter.
