Minnie is a 9-year-old (and 7 lb) Chihuahua mix with a heart as big as her love for cuddles. She’s a sweet, gentle girl who truly shines when she’s curled up next to her favorite person. Minnie has a calm, loving personality and would be a wonderful companion for someone looking for a loyal little shadow. She will nudge you when she wants pets and cuddles, and she enjoys perching atop the couch. Minnie does best in a home with other small dogs—she finds comfort and confidence in their company and enjoys having petite pals around. Because of her size and gentle nature, she needs a home without large dogs and young children, where she can feel safe and relaxed. **She was attacked by a large dog in her former home, so she can be shy and timid at first when meeting new people. She came into foster slightly underweight, so we are working on getting her to an appropriate weight.** If you’re looking for a snuggly, devoted senior pup who will happily share the couch and your heart, Minnie might just be your perfect match.
